La Maison d'Odette

It was our first time in France and La Ciotat. Therefore, we decided to stay at La Maison d'Odette. And I must say, it was a great place to stay. The interior has the typical French flair. Of course, it's not a luxury hotel, but I've been in several B&Bs, and this one had a special charme. The only problem we had at the beginning, is to find the entrance door. Therefore, when you decide to book a room here, look for a blue door in a building opposite the cafe d'Horlog. The appartement consists of a bedroom, a small "kitchen" and a bathroom. WLAN connection is not the best but in general, it was good. Only sometimes at eveningit made some temporary problems. You will get the breakfast served in the cafe de l'Hologe just on the other side of the street. There you can choose between a large and a small breakfast. La Maison d'Odette is located pretty in the touristic centre of La Ciotat. The most facilities are located in the close proximity - grocery shops, cafès, restaurants, the promenade. Everything is just a stone's throw away. Problematic is the parking situation. As this B&B is located in the pedestrian zone, you cannot park there in case you would arrive with a rental car. But there are some parking possibilities (paid and for free) 7 to 15 minutes to walk. As far as I'm concerned, I will book a room at this B&B again in case I should return to La Ciotat.
