La Loma Inn

I have been staying at the La Loma, usually on a motorcycle trip, just about every time I have traveled to the Big Bend area. There were times that I couldn't because of the "No Vacancy" sign was on. This time I made reservations so our room was waiting on us. On this trip I found out the little motel is under new ownership and that owner is a 'hands on' owner. She is wanting you to enjoy your stay at her little motel....and we did. Her mom helps out as well and she is an asset to the business. These types of motels, sometimes referred to as "Mom and Pop",are getting harder and harder to find across the country. I prefer these types especially when I am traveling on a motorcycle. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great....and all at a great rate. Our room had a microwave, refrigerator, and etc. Anything else we needed all we had to do was ask. I'm looking forward to my next trip to the Big Bend Country and staying at this special little motel.
