The staff were unfriendly and inconsiderate, and we had a stressful stay in this hotel. It is expensive for a poorly maintained place. A low type motel vibe. The windows are broken, and the air conditioning is old, which can't make the room cool. I definitely will not recommend this place. 

Never again on this place!

I stayed here and hated almost everything about it.  The staff were unfriendly for a start and made me feel unwelcome from day one.  They were reluctant to clean my room when it was due to be cleaned and rolled their eyes when I gave them laundry.  Another serious issue is that it lacks a good internet connection.  I complained time and time again about not having internet access, but the owner of the place rudely told me to get my own if I wasn't happy, despite promising that "getting online is possible, as free wifi is available, allowing you to rest and refresh with ease". Total BS!   Quite frankly this is the worse resort I've ever stayed in the Philippines.  Never ever will I go back to La Fiesta resort.

The worst place to stay on Boracay

I arrived late with my family and asked the old woman who runs the place if there was a room available with a balcony view.  She told me all the rooms with balconies were full, but she did have a large room at the back.  As my children were tired, I took the room, and thought about changing later.  The room itself was "average", but the problem was that there were bars on all the windows which made escape from the room impossible if a fire started.  I noticed that one previous reviewer named Rochelle left feedback about a fire starting in her friend's room.  This was a real worry for me and my wife. The other thing we worried about was theft.  We wondered why all the windows were barred up like a prison.  Had thieves attempted to get into the rooms before?  Had things been stolen?   We never did find out.  My wife told me she wanted to move the next day and I didn't argue.

Fire risk and security issues

This place is OK.  Maybe a 2 Star resort, but way too expensive for what you get.  There was no kitchen in the room.  If you want to cook, there is a communal kitchen, but it is very dirty and you need to sometimes queue while other Filipinos are cooking.  Sometimes I waited more than an hour in the evening. There is another problem, too.  Some nights Filipinos are drinking on their balconies and they can be very noisy.  I know they are on Christmas holiday but they should be more considerate.  Also they bang doors in the hallway so it is hard to get a good night's sleep.  I only stayed here one night.  I found a quieter room in another area.

OK place, but way too expensive for what you get.

If you stay in Boracay, you should be on the beachfront.
This place has great value. The 2x queen beds, aircon, fridge, hot water, TV + channels. Balcony with outdoor seating.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
There's a guard on duty and a camera facing the stairs.
I've stayed here once before about 4.5 years ago, would stay again.

La Fiesta Beachfront. Great location!

Extra Charges + Poor Customer Service + Foul-mouthed owners!!!

If you want your stay to be stressful and very uncomfortable, then La Fiesta is the place to be.

It also has false claims of "accommodation by the beach" when really, it is 30meters from the beach front!!!

A very affordable rate for a great location. The place is also very accessible to a lot of stores (Merly's BBQ, Starbucks, 7/11, D'mall). The staff were also friendly and accommodating. We requested for hot water and mugs every morning and they would give us a thermo. Basic toiletries are provided, and the bathroom has a water heater. The room also have a fridge and a TV.  You can also ask the staff for a sunbathing bed if you want to stay outside. 

Affordable place for a beachfront view

It is my 3rd time to stay in this place  and I am comfortable and happy here because for the price I paid, I'm at beach front. I can see the beach from my window and balcony. The room is simple yet clean.

my favorite room in boracay

I had a long story of how they seem to just wanna ask for money and no friendly gestures at all. (Short wersion) A FIRE went on at their electrical post in my friend's room. We asked for their money back sobthey can transfer hotel. It is very unsafe to still be staying there. The old lady sisters were trying to fight, shouting "Nothing even happened to u guys. We will not give your money!" 

We ended up pleading for tranfer. Just woww.. Aside from the fact that sometimes you will end up having a studio type rooms yet we paid the same amount.. so be careful! Stay away

Fire! Bad attitude/bad owners. Unsafe

I love this place. Have stayed there twice already and will definitely be back again soon. Clean rooms, friendly and accommodating staff. Only a few steps away from the beach. 
Owner is friendly and very hospitable.
