Astana

Club Hostel is a great place to stay for those who are planning a cheap trip to Astana. The facilities are very clean, tidy and comfortable. 
The staff are very friendly and helpful, however, they do not speak English which could lead to some issues if asking complicated questions. 
When we stayed there were many locals staying too, which meant that the hostel was very loud until very late at night which could be an issue for some individuals. 
Overall, this is a great place to stay when wishing to visit a fantastic country and city!

An easy, affordable place to stay.

I just returned from a long weekend in Astana and enjoyed the stay at Club Hostel.

The location is good, everything in the city is walkable, a taxi from/to the airport costs around 1500 local currency. The Nur-Astana Mosque is only 5 minutes away for example.

The facilities are very clean, wifi very strong. We had a private room which was big enough with a closet for our clothes.

The staff is very nice and surely would have been even more helpful if our Russian had been better. So that's not their fault.

What I didn't like: From the room one could hear everything in the hostel, even when the staff was talking at the reception. So earplugs are a must, even in the private room. Also one couldn't really darken the room, the window shutter only partially cover the window so when the sun comes out, the room is bright.

All in all surely the best budget option in Astana.

Great Hostel in Astana

I spent nearly a day on the search for a decent hostel: They were either impossible to find, no-one at home, simply ugly or a combination of the above. The Club hostel ist the opposite of all that: It's not too far from the new city (left bank) and can be easily reached from the bus/ train station and the airport (bus number 10 goes directly there)

There is a clear sign at the door, so it's easy to locate once you are there. There are 2 private rooms (heavily booked) and two doorms (the latter can get a bit crammed when full). Showers and toilets are new and in perfect conditions. There is also a small kitchen, for common use there are cereals and tea for breakfast

Best hostel in Astana: Friendly, clean and comfortable

We stayed here just for one night, but would highly recommend this hostel. It' s not too hard to find the hostel..it has a big sign outside so it' s possible to find (not like at other hostels in astana). Stuff is okay and speaks enough english to communicate the important things. Room was very clean, also the shared bathroom. Breakfast was just tea, milk and cereals...but in the common kitchen you can also cook your own food.

Great place to stay

I would highly recommend staying in this hostel if you are visiting Astana. 
Fine neighborhood. Especially enjoyed walking in the evening and watching dancing fountains. My business trip was mainly related to Nazarbayev University and the hostel is 5 minute drive away from it. It is also located very close to shopping malls and entertainment centers. Easy to find public transportation. 
Hostel was spotless clean and cozy. Bathrooms including shower rooms were well equipped and clean. I stayed in dorm room for 4 women and was able to sleep well. Beds were very comfortable. Friendly and nice staff serve free breakfast! Yay! :) 
Overall, great service for a cheap price.
