JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus

I had the pleasure of staying at the JW Marriott Istanbul Bosphorus yesterday, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. Koray from Guest Relations was exceptionally respectful and demonstrated outstanding communication skills, making me feel very welcome from the start. At the front desk, Tufan impressed me with his high level of professionalism and efficiency — a true asset to the team. One of the highlights of my stay was the warm and personal welcome I received from the Food & Beverage Supervisor during breakfast. Being greeted by name added a very special touch to the experience and showed a genuine level of guest care. The bellmen were very helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile, which contributed to a smooth and pleasant arrival. That said, there are a couple of areas where improvement would elevate the guest experience further. The security staff could benefit from more guest-friendly behavior — I noticed a lack of eye contact, greetings, or even a simple smile, which creates a rather cold first impression. Additionally, during breakfast, I observed a barista drinking coffee behind the counter, which did not look professional and slightly disrupted the otherwise polished atmosphere. Despite these minor details, my overall experience was very positive. The team members who went above and beyond truly made a difference.
