Junior and Nemesia's Cottages

So nice and friendly family. Helpful and caretaking. Stayed in cottage beach front. Very simple but comfy and clean. No running water. You flush with saltwater and "shower" with rainwater 😀
The food is excellent mostly fish and what's grown on the island
Internet is slow.
Go to Pamilacan, relax from everything and enjoy life

Junior and his sons give us a warm welcome on the island, the meals were amazing and well prepared. Besides this, he went above and beyond with an amazing family dinner. We loved our stay here and can't wait to revisit in the near future.

We were there in February/2012. We are sorry not to have reviewed this place until now as we were ignorant of Trip Advisor until recently. We would echo another of the reviewer's sentiments in that part of us is reluctant to advertise this wonderful spot and have it changed but also feeling obligated to Junior and Nemisia and Sanforni and family to help generate business. We had a blissful time there. Plenty to do, plenty to explore, plenty of very friendly local folks to spend whole afternoons talking to. Cockfights too if that's your thing. I don't know if there is running water available now but if you are not fancy people, this place has everything you need. Junior was catching and grilling fish for us when we were there and we always felt we had plenty of everything. We took boat trips to see dolphins and go squid fishing. Simple snorkeling yields infinite pleasures. If you are not hung up on having everything while traveling, this place will suit you fine. We recommend it with all our hearts.

I regularly go to this place like thrice a year and have never had a bad experience. Their area is near the beach and the coral garden which is great for snorkeling or skin diving. They will help you with food and will never extort your money. 

A very late review! We came here June 16 for our first anniversary. Couldn't have chosen are more unique destination.

With the island being so quiet, with hardly any locals, there are long stretches of private white sandy beaches... Friendly locals, and lots to explore.

The facilities are as basic as they come, but we didn't expect anything different... But the food was incredible, with local caught fish and meat on the menu every day.

The biggest plus point... The snorkeling! Such amazing corals spread out the shallows before a sheer drop to the ocean floor.

On our anniversary night the owners went above and beyond to set us up a private table on the beach, decorated amazingly, and a special menu just for us... Really appreciated! It won't be forgotten. 

I have stayed a few times in one of Mesiang´s and Junior´s cottages over the past years, and think that this is a perfect island escape to unwind and just relax. The coral reef is beautiful, the food is great and the people are lovely. A truly authentic experience:D

one of my favourites in Bohol

Junior and Nemesia are nice. The cottage and the food good. However, there is a really BIG PROBLEM of STEALINGS ! It's really a shame on this little island. Somebody stole our camera. Everybody knows it and nobody help against thief. Police doesn't care and says you that you must to be careful ! We use to travel, we are very careful, but the stealing happened when we are in cottage. So, we pay for a cottage in the beach, but it's not safe ! A lot of men, children come always very near the cottage... Can we be little relax on the cottage? Furthermore, children ask often to have some sweets or money...
It's a big problem for tourists, for tourism, for your business in this island...
So, beautiful place, but really not safe ! It's a shame... 
(Sorry for Junior and Nemesia who are a nice couple, but we must to warm other tourists... We really hope this bad problem will disappear, for you and for travelers).
