We travelled 10 ladies 18-56 years , clean beds, very simple basic rooms. Some with bathroom some not. 2 rooms facing the canal, no bathroom. I believe they both are triple rooms. They have great view accross the canal, you can see cruise ships sailing in and out of Venice. Chira was the best host! And she speaks chinese....! This is an university dorm that serves as hostel time to time. Not sure when excatly. It is on island Guidecca. Redentore is yr stop. A "mercato" 100m away and a gelato store a tiny boutique. Nothings else around. They have a kitchen, you can cook. Some people leave left over grocieries and books read to grab. Will go again. Not the most romantic accodomation for couple but totally acceptable. Dont forget no service, just basic cleaning...
