I could hardly imagine a more pleasant place to stay in Bruges than this. The old mansion is renovated, furnished and decorated with taste and style, it´s impeccably clean, the room was large, the bed very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and Annie is a kind and wonderful host. Anytime again.

We planned to write a long and detailed review of our stay at Jacquemine...something which would do justice to how much we enjoyed this lovely place and what wonderful hosts Annie and Pavel were.  However upon reading the other recent reviews we find that they have said it all.  So rather than bore the reader with repetitive comments we just want to say that our experience was superb, our stay exceeded all of our expectations, Annie and Pavel were  exceptionally warm, gracious and accommodating and we give them our unqualified recommendation.  Whatever your travel plans, rest assured that your memories will be enhanced by this lovely couple and their charming home.  We enjoyed our stay so much we invited them to stay with us the next time they travel to our home town!

Come to Bruges and stay at Jacquemine Guesthouse. We were in Bruges for two nights in mid-August and had the best experience. The building is beautiful and the common spaces (breakfast room, sitting room and back garden abutting canal) are all well appointed and homey. The room follows suit; it was large, beautifully decorated and had all the creature comforts you could want. This small place has a BIG breakfast - croissants, breads, fresh yogurt, made to order eggs, fruit...it was delicious. On top of that, there was a nespresso machine and bottled water in the room (included in price) and a communal "mini-fridge" that was honor system and had a wide variety of items for consumption. 

The location can't be beat. An easy taxi ride from the train station, it is just steps from the two main squares, yet is on a much quieter street than the central location would imply. The hosts were welcoming and informative, giving great restaurant, coffee, wine shop recommendations and always wanting to make your bruges visit best. 

We can't recommend this highly enough.

Annie a a tremendous host, and really has thought of everything that guests would want and expect from a first class establishment.

The whole place is beautifully finished and furnished with so much attention to detail, Paul's art adorns many of the walls, giving this home this a real luxury feel.  

The bedrooms are gorgeous, as are the bathrooms.  Bed linen is possibly the nicest I have ever slept on, the beds are huge! 

The photos on the website don't do this place justice.  It really is even better than it looks.

Breakfast is superb. Croissant, pancakes, eggs, toast, fruit, chocolates, fresh fruit juice... As above, there really is nothing that hasn't been though of. Perfect!

I could rave on for ages about how great this place is but won't as its all already been said.

If you are going to Bruges and are looking for fabulous accommodation, hosts, breakfast and location stay here, you'll love it. 

We are so grateful to have stayed here! Annie is delightful, welcoming, helpful and enjoys people! Her home is full of fascinating history while beautifully modern in accommodations. Our room was spacious, comfortable and cosy with full length windows looking over the garden...and a most comfortable bed! Breakfast was a feast! This was true luxury and we look forward to many return visits.
