the hotel is only few minutes away from D-mall and the white beach. Very quiet surrounding, but has cafe, restaurants and everything, just in 1-2 minute distance. The only thing is that there were so many ants in the bathroom when we threw food leftovers in the trash bin. the staffs were nice. overall, butget friendly and good location.

I did my kitesurfing IKO course at Isla Boracay in Feb 2018. Isla is very professional but fun and relaxed at the same time. 
Robert my instructor was spot on with his tips and corrections. He made me stand up on the board very quickly. 
Lidia the centre manager was always helpful. She made sure my course is efficient and effective and my money is well spent helping me to find the cheapest options. On the top of that that Isla is fun place to be. You meet lots of cool people esspacialy during parties they regularly make. Food is also good and drinks are cheap so what else could you possibly want? 😉

Kitesurfing course 

We stayed at Isla Kite from 25-30 of January 2018. I booked it as I red it was located one quieter side of the island. The place is located right at the beach. The facilities are simple but very nice. Bamboo furniture gives a feel of an islander life:))
Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Little restaurant at the venue serves very delicious breakfast which you might not be able to find elsewhere especially if you are into health and fitness or vegan/vegetarian. 
Massage is one to none. A guy does know his job and you will not find that type of massage anywhere on the island. He is always fully booked so consider yourself lucky if you got space. 

Beach is clean with algae on it but every morning guys cleaning algae away.
Most disappointing thing about the whole stay was nice from next door resort cafe Hangin Kite surfing. HORRIBLE! It ruined our stay. Shame guys from Isla can't do anything about this. So basically they had party every night apart from Sunday. Music was playing so loud we could not hear each other in our room. 

On a last night 29/30 we didn't sleep at all. We were leaving at 4:30 and the music was still bang on. No-one was there. Not even bartenders but 4 random pissed people playing hockey game. It looks like they are doing it on purpose so people don't stay in a hotels near buy and they get business from that bunch of people who is more about drinking that kitesurfing. I would love to stay at IslaKite again but I doubt I would like to cope with sleepless nights. Once here and there it's ok but every night until morning with horrible music and so loud I think I will need to look for somewhere else to stay. Shame such horrible neighborhood can ruin such a peaceful and chilled place


Very nice place

I had big room with a double bed, like 10 meters from the beach. The room had ac and a fan. It was cleaned every day and every second day they changed my sheets and towels.
The guesthouse has a restaurant/bar and is a meeting point for kite surfers. (Perfect for solo travellers) 
I really enjoyed my stay and additionally learned how to kite surf with isla kite.

Nice rooms next to the beach

we had an upstairs room, with a great view, overlooking the ocean. Just  a stonesthrow from the beach. This GH is at Bulabog Beach, about a ten minute easy walk to the main beach and all the markets and nightlife. It was a lot more quiet and relaxed staying here.
The rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Excellent value for money, and fabulous staff. Lots of coconut trees, clean beach.

Hotel is right next in front of the beach and you need to do literally 10m to reach the water.
 
The room I was in was very small and should only be used to sleep. You can t stay in the room as it's too small but it's cheap. I wouldt go there if you look for more privacy or comfort.

Hotel has a small restaurant with a daily special menu and is not expensive. They have a repair shop and sell new and 2nd hand kites. 
There re beach boys to inflate and launch your kites. 
The team behind is very organised and they have french speaking coaches. I really recommend Laurent. He ll take his kite and surf with you. He can teach you the basic till jumping and freestyle.  

Anyway overall I recommend highly Isla kiting.

There was a mix up with the reservation. We arrived and the booking was canceled, despite having extra rooms available the hotel manager refused to accommodate our reservations and work with the situation. The staff is unable to make decisions independently at the hotel and had to email to an associate that lives in Poland and Korea during the down season. This is a Filipino problem as the country's concept of customer service in the hotel industry hasn't caught up with its neighbors Thailand and Indonesia in being organized and accommodating its guests needs. There were blood stains on my sheets and only one outlet in the room worked. The location was good though.

Very friendly and helpful staff.   A little hot in the room with just the fan,  but it was good value for the money and for Boracay.   Easy to get here from Carabao and it was nice being close to but not at White Beach

Just needed a place to stay for a night. Its afforadable and not far from D'Mall. Convenient and easily accessible

Affordable

I enjoyed the quiet side. But my room had alot of spiders and insects every night falling on my bed. So I was a little worried being coverd w bugs the next day day.
