Isabel's Guest House

I took the advice of the Footprint Guide and stayed here on my last night in Belize. It's a good choice for Belize city as it's right next to the swing bridge, Caye Caulker water taxi, shops and banks. The guest house itself is hidden in an alley (there is security at night) and up 2 flights of stairs. The rooms are in the attic of this house. There is also a guard dog who barks through a hole in the wall of the hotel at intruders. Isabel's is spotlessly clean. The ladies working there are very nice. The room was well maintained, with a fridge and washroom with shower in the room. There is a TV and couch available for guests too. I had the place to myself when I was there. For a budget hotel, I highly recommend Isabel's.
