I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Icis Villas. The units were clean and comfortable, and overall the property had a welcoming and local feel. Part of this appeal is due to the friendly interactions with Ms Icis Malone, the proprietress, and her son. As the the stay was in February, the night breeze was cool enough to leave off the air-conditioning. I was able to eat some guavas straight off the tree next to our staircase! The property is far enough away from the capital to ensure peaceful surroundings, but for the same reason a rental car is recommended if you plan to move around the island frequently.

Pleasant stay with a local atmosphere

We have been here twice, after chartering a sailboat with friends.  It is the most relaxing place I have ever stayed.  The hospitality is laid back, and very comfortable. The gardens, pool, and beach are spectacularly beautiful.  And the meals are excellent in terms of quality and flavor.  This visit, several of our group had the grouper for dinner and all swear it was the best they ever tasted!  The rooms are spacious and include a small kitchen and living room.  All have beautiful views of the mountains, gardens, or pool, not to mention the stars shine brighter in this secluded spot.  If you want a truly peaceful experience, this is the place for you!  We will certainly go back.

Tortola Garden of Eden

this property is fantastic, everyone should stay a night or two there!

Keeping in mind it is only a couple years since Irma, this place could still use a little love. It has all the makings of an amazing location and ambience, but seems to be lacking any real passion to make it great. The staff was ok, and our room and the pool were relatively clean. There are no other real food options close by and we waited too long for a subpar meal, which was way overpriced. We left too early to "enjoy" the complimentary breakfast.We woke up to NO WATER in our room (and most of the property) and a staff that was clueless as to why and what to do about it. The grounds are beautiful and the infrastructure is there to make it better...just needs quite a bit more effort.

Wonderful place that is very isolated and quiet. Just a very short walk to one of the nicest beaches on Tortola. On days when there are no cruise ships it's one of the most peaceful places I've been.

The property was lovely and secluded. It felt like a personal tropical paradise. The property had beautiful mature plantings and a nice pool. On-premise dinner was excellent (remember to reserve your spot ahead of time) and the in-room kitchen was handy for nights you wanted to keep it low key / fend for yourself. The staff was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. The beach is a quick walk away and has a beach bar for drinks and lunch / snacks. Also loved the resort cats. Having them welcome you back after a trip to the beach made it feel like home.

We stayed a couple of nights here before a week’s sailing in the BVI. Whilst not pretentious, this was a great family run hotel in a great location. Brewer’s bay beach was a short walk down the drive, which was wonderfully quiet. 

Good breakfast; however, you need to order dinner in the morning. We had grilled grouper, which was delicious. There isn’t a lot of other places to eat at I. The evening, so you’d need a taxi to Road Town. 

What a gem!

A very pleasant and relaxing stay in this secluded tropical Paradise. The staff were among the nicest people I've ever met in my life. The plants were gorgeous. Dinner selections are generally just two items but always delicious. For a relaxing, beautiful, secluded getaway I could not more highly recommend.

The property is locally owned and run. Miss Agatha cooked us a wonderful dinner when we arrived later in the evening.  Couldn't have been more accommodating. We'd stay there again

I spent two nights and it was very quiet.  The staff was very friendly and was available to discuss activities and call taxis.  Brewer's Bay is the only activity (beach and snorkeling) within walking distance.  The taxis are about $12/person to go to Road Town and to go to Cane Garden Bay.  Cane Garden Bay has a great beach and lots of restaurants/bars and Bobby's Market.
