Tiara Beach 

Arrived at 10pm to a welcoming & efficient reception team. As it was outside the usual restaurant hours, I was offered snacks & refreshments. Room was huge, 2 single beds, plenty of floor space, comfy chairs, tv, kettle, coffee machine, good wardrobe space & hangers. A good size bathroom with large walk in shower. There was a hairdryer but I’d recommend taking your own as it wasn’t very powerful. Balcony overlooked the front of hotel but could see the sea in the distance. My room was next to the glass lift but wasn’t noisy. Cleaners came every day, plenty of towels & toiletries - there’s a note in bathroom to say what to do if you want towels changed. Small fridge in room which was handy & there was a large bottle of water left for me. Tv channels are limited - I was happy with MTV but also took Amazon stick which meant I always had Netflix 😁 No complaints at all about the room and the Hotel itself was always very clean, staff polite - be aware they don’t all speak English, but they will get someone else if they don’t understand you. The food was good, lots of variety at all meals. Breakfast had everything - juices, toast, pastries, bagels, fruit, cereals, yogurts, pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, beans etc. unlimited hot & cold drinks which you serve yourself at the machines. I only had lunch a couple of times but plenty to choose from & Dinner was similar options: breads, soup, great variety of salads, always a fish dish, at least 2 meat dishes, some sort of potato (roast, baked, mash), always fries & pasta too. I would have liked more veg but there was always at least one variety. You may struggle if vegetarian unless happy to eat a lot of pasta & salad. Also, don’t expect the food to be British - it isn’t! I heard a couple of people say there wasn’t enough ‘British food’ .. stay in UK if you want British food!! All the food was nice & my only negative would be it could sometimes do with being a bit hotter. It wasn’t piping hot but not cold either! Around the usual mealtimes there is also a snack bar with breads, salads, pizza, waffles etc. you definitely don’t go hungry! Hot drinks machines in the lounge & restaurant, Beer, wine and soft drinks on tap at meal times but also available at the bar inside & the pool bar. There is a small shop with holiday essentials including some sweets & crisps etc. Pool area was clean & a lot of very comfy sunbeds, very close together so could take some manoeuvring in peak season. Separate kids pool with some slides etc. the weather wasn’t great the week I was there (25/9 - 3/10) so I didn’t have much pool time & didn’t see much of the entertainment staff in the day - I don’t advise going after me d September as the whole town is starting to shutdown. By the time I left, it was like a ghost town - not much open, excursions were no longer available & the hotel spa shut at end September. The indoor pool, spa & gym area all looked good but I didn’t use them. Due to the poor weather, I didn’t a lot of wandering around as there isn’t much else to do although making the most of the all inclusive bar passed a few hours & there is plenty of lounge/seating areas in the hotel. There was evening entertainment but I didn’t go to any. Overall a fab hotel, good facilities & located about 20 min walk from centre of Sunny Beach nightlife. I’d recommend it but don’t leave it until end September if you want a pool holiday! Beach is about 10 min walk from hotel & stunning!
