House of Dilly

Please note to start with that at the time of writing the location on tripadvisor is very different to the actual one - this property is actually on Jude Mawatha, near 'Mango Villa' on the map - we initially went to location on the map which is a good few kms out of place! We stayed here for several days at the end of our 7 week trip and were very impressed by our value for money. The house was very clean, with nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The breakfast consisted of a very tasty omelette, toast and some fruit. The owner was very friendly and went above and beyond to help us. He organised us a tuktuk for our departure at a very reasonable rate, and we were very surprised when it arrived that is was one of the larger tuktuks that could easily accomodate 3 of use and our bags. I would definitely recommend a stay here at the start or end of your trip if you're on a budget. If you haven't already, make sure you install the pickme app (similar to uber but for tuktuks) as we found the drivers in Negombo tried to rip us off far more than at any other point in our stay.
