Our family of four had a two-room apartment with a balcony overlooking the lake. The vila has also a private beach. We loved sitting on the balcony and most of our family used the beach on the morning. There is no breakfast, but there are restaurants serving breakfast nearby. There is a shared kitchen with a possibility to cook coffee. The  apartment has a refrigerator.

Excellent location and friendly service

Loved this place. Location was superb and the private sundeck on the lake beautiful. Right in the centre of the old town. The accommodation was clean and tidy, with the owners so helpful. Not a hotel but all the better for it.  

Amazing location 

We used two times this villa in the last month. First time the room was a little bit obsolete, the second time our room was newly renovated and well equipped. The lakeside view is amazing, the location is in the middle of the party zone, so be prepared, the bars are closed at 02.00, till that it is a little bit noisy. There is free wifi (in some places it is weak), and kitchens. No card is accepted.

Excellent location

No frills villa but has a great little sun deck right over the water. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the lake. No breakfast served but you have use of a kitchen if needed. No air conditioning but the breeze coming off the lake was actually chilly in September. Wifi not great, only worked if the door was open.

Clean, cheap, great location

We came here for a night in March. 

Here is my take:

It was cold, and the rooms are heated with portable electric heaters. So, unless you want to freeze in the bathroom you should leave the door open so some warmth can circulate in there.

The lakeside rooms have beautiful views.

Parking could be a problem, although it is stated as free parking, this is really just on street parking. So availability is limited.

WiFi was horrible, such that I didn't get enough signal to use it. (I was on the top floor and the router is evidently on the bottom floor. Recommend management invest in routers for every floor.)

No Breakfast.

Many stairs, no elevator.

This is a home, where people live. Much like many of hte other "Villas" in Ohrid, the owners have converted several of the rooms and rent them out to supplement their income. As such, I always feel like I am intruding a little when I knock on their door with an issue. In this case, the lady was very nice, but I felt a little sorry for her having to climb all those stairs with me to show me my room.

Rooms are sparsely furnished, with hard single beds and old fashioned tube TV's with limited English channels. I wasn't there to watch TV though so I didn't really care. If you were to spend more than a night or two though it might bother you.

Location is good, if you want to hang around old town especially.

Lovely View from Waterside

We booked Villa Lucija on the recommendation of a friend and weren't disappointed.  It's in a perfect spot, right by the water and a few paces from a number of bars and restaurants.  We had a double room at the top of the house with a balcony and amazing views of the lake.  

Though there's no air conditioning there was a fan and a nice breeze from the lake.  The only issue was the loud music that went on until the early hours, it being late July.  I think the whole town suffers from this problem as noise bounces back from the surrounding hills.  I'd invest in earplugs and go for this amazing location anyway. 

An absolute bargain - not luxury but a fabulous place at the price.
