There was a fish fillet special on the day we went to this restaurant. We liked it and it came with Fritas and a side salad. We also liked that you can people watch on the street below from the balcony of the restaurant.

Good meal

Hotel was fabulas this year all of our group who stayed here were happy with either fan and tv room or ac rooms .Only complaint was lites from the new playground were on all nite and kept a few awake meals at hotel restaurant were great and serice was always met with a smile

The room was great for the price and was cleaned everyday  restaurant was great but restaurants all over island were great .beach access was good .Highly recommend.Close to most dive shops and stores ..

HOTEL UTILA

I was there 3 nights and I can tell you, the location of this hotel is outstanding, right in the middle of the Island's main street, Annie was very helpful with all of the arrangements, rooms with A/C, we had a plan that included all the meals, never had an issue, there is a beautiful area in the back of the hotel where you can chill out and watch the sunset. Overall, great hotel, great prices and great location.

Great hotel!

My wife and me looked for outstanding local food and found it at Hotel Utila's own new Restaurant which opened only a few weeks ago. We had very tasty fish meals. The service personal was super nice and attentive. We can definitely recommend to visit this restaurant no matter if you stay at the hotel as a guest or not.

The Hotel has a great new restaurant open to all public! Had a super dinner there!

Friendly, helpful people. Clean rooms and common area. 
I opted for no hot water and no air conditioning. Next time I may ask for hot water though the cold isn’t that cold. 
Basic but great rates and big rooms.

Basic accommodation for a diving holiday

Pillow was covered in blood. Holes in the flithy mattress with springs sticking through. Construction in the hallway starting early morning and going all day. Kitchen with cockroaches everywhere. Overall, just a disgusting property that has not been maintained. Owner Louise is a rude, miserable women. Photos posted by hotel are not accurate. There are better options on the island for similar prices. I would recommend avoiding this property.

Da fuori la struttura appare  molto carina, in legno con terrazza comune al primo piano è un piccolo accesso all'acqua (chiamato "spiaggia privata") sul retro della struttura.
Stanze sia la piano terreno sia al primo piano.
Abbiamo pagato 30$ a camera, tasse ecc incluse. La padrona di casa è poco amichevole e poco sorridente,
 Quasi svogliata. Questo sembra riflettersi su come sono tenute le camere all'interno, o per lo meno sulla nostra, la 2, al piano terreno. Materasso improponibile, lenzuola lise e con evidenti macchie, pareti scrostate, fili elettrici che pendono dal soffitto e dal muro, prese di corrente non fissate al muro,  caldo soffocante per il non passaggio di aria per le finestre molto piccole. Il water funzionava male: per interrompere il riempimento dovevamo aprire la scatola dell'acqua e sistemare il tappo a mano, nettamente in contrasto col cartello Scolorito sulla conservazione dell'acqua appeso sopra. In conclusione rapporto qualità prezzo veramente pessima, poco valore per i vostri soldi, con la stessa cifra o anche poco meno si trovano strutture meglio tenute. Sconsigliato.

From the outside the hotel looks very nice, with common wooden terrace  on the first floor and a small access to water (called "private beach") on the back of the structure.
Rooms both at ground floor and first floor.
We paid $ 30 per room, taxes, etc.  included. The hostess is not friendly at all and smiling little, almost listless. This seems to  have effect  on how rooms are kept inside, or at least ours, the number 2, at the ground floor. Uncomfortable mattress, threadbare sheets and with obvious stains, peeling paint, electrical wires hanging from the ceiling and from the wall, plugs not attached to the wall, excessive heat for air not able to pass through the tiny windows. The toilet did not worked ok: to stop the continuos refilling we had to open the water box   and place the cap by hand, in sharp contrast with the discolored sign hanging over  about water conservation. In conclusion:  little value for your money, with the same amount or even less there are better  maintained hotels to stay in. Not recommended.
