The location was perfect in the middle of the old town, but just be a little "hidden". The price was good and the person who received us was so service minded. Can recommend the hotel to young people who are not concerned with the comfort and "accommodation" of the room, not the same standard as in north of Europe.

A lot of noise from the "street" outside, couldn't have open window. The mosque had prayer calls at about 4 a.m. (at night). No glass in the room (but he at reception fixed this), "fridge" not connected, toilet didn't fill up water in the cistern, so we had to do this manually every time we pulled down. Had to ask for toilet paper (was only one night), there were 3 almost empty when we arrived, should have been 1-2 full.



The location was perfect in the middle of the old town.

I cannot really tell anything on this hotel, except that I booked 2 months in advance and when I arrived the water was not working in my room and I was transferred to a nearby hotel (so see my comments on Hotel Atika). The receptionist didn't speak English, so it was not easy. If possible, select another hotel to avoid bad surprises.

I booked but they had no room

Avoid this hotel at all costs. We arrived and was told that there was no room available for us even though we booked it. They said they would provide us with an alternative room but we would have to wait as they need to sort out the plumbing. Half an hour later we were told they can't get a plumber out so we would have no water supply. They offered us a apartment in the middle of a run down estate which looked like someones flat. In the end we walked away from them. They were the most unhelpful people. Do not book, even if you have confirmation they will not have a room for you.

Avoid at all costs

We booked this hotel 2 months ago for the Super Cup Final. Upon arrival we got told our room booking has been cancelled (leaving is no where to stay). The hotel then said they are getting another room ready at another place, so we said we will wait. After waiting they said this room won't be ready as the plumbing is not working and won't be ready tonight. They then said they have booked us a 5 star newly refurbished apartment which is much better than the hotel room. With no where to stay we thought let's check it out. Upon arrival to this apartment we found out it was actually a block of flats and someone's flat they were giving us to sleep in, which was in the middle of an estate in a country we have never been too...they also told us there would be WiFi and a safe which neither was true. We then went back to Ultra Star and told them they had lied to us about the apartment and it's facilities, which they had the nerve to say they never said such things...hmmm.

They didn't have the decency to ring other hotels in the area to find out who had availablity but thought we will take these guys for a joke as they don't have a clue what to do next because they have never been here. They also said the WiFi at ultra star is not included in the price we booked for...another false comment.

Clearly they just wanted to make money and gave our hotel room to someone else who offered more money. In the end we found another better hotel with great customer service...a lot closer to where we wanted to be as well. The hotel is called Hotel Centar...they came to our rescue and offered to help with any problems we had and also answer all our questions!

Absolute joke...attrocious service

The Hotel is newly renovated, with very nice decor; beige with black and gold. French doors open to view of old bazaar. And Breakfast is included. Wonderful hospitality. Restaurant is at the top with window seating and open to balcony. Great price.
