A beautiful lodge in Ranikhet with comfortable rooms, great food and a spectacular view! Very conveniently located away from the hustle of the rest of the town. Lovely trees all around to enjoy birdsong in the morning

A group of us visited Ranikhet last month. We chose the property as we wanted our own space away from the crowd and Snow view met our needs. The rooms were neat, meals delicious, staff were helpful and guided us to places we should visit in Ranikhet. The hotel arranged for a picnic for us which was lovely and we all had a great break. I would definitely reccomended it 

The location of this hotel is in the heart of the city. There is lots of greenery around this hotel. The hotel front office was very much supportive and friendly. The hotel room service was very much fast and quick. The view from this hotel was very good. The ambience of this hotel was very peaceful. Hotel front office staff arranged a taxi for me for local sightseeing. The manager was very much good person. Food of this hotel was cheap and good in quality.

This property is suggested for one who likes peace and perfect view to the snow capped mountains. Rooms are normal , food is okay but the staff is super courteous.
The room location is good but is away from the city approximately 06 kms and a lot in the hills.

An excellent stay

We were three couples and been there in MAY 2015. I will talk about the different points separately below :

LOCATION : 
Goods : In the leap of nature. One can walk up or down hill easily, roam around here and there. Good view of himalayas on clear days.
Bads : 10KM from Ranikhet. If you are reaching after 9PM you will find it difficult to find the hotel. Often network breakage so you even don't get phone/GPS support. 

FOOD :
Goods : We had dinner there and found it to be light and good (tasty).
Bads : My friends repeatedly complaint about bad taste of tea. Because of remote area, it might be difficult to have many options.

CLEANLINESS :
Goods : Rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Bads : No bad as such

Service Quality :
Goods : Very responsive and supportive staff. 
Bads : No TV in rooms. No power backup (problem on hot days). No good designated area for drivers (room inside kitchen, no fan in room, bathing is supposed to be in open).

VERDICT :

(1) Good for relaxing 
(2) Do not plan to reach in night
(3) Do not rely on hotel staff to guide you for any location. They are not sure of most locations they recommend to visit. They even told us wrong direction for one location for which we wasted 2 hours :-)

Detailed review

The Hotel has lack of basic amenities, away from Market. Booked hotel for 3 Nights but had to shift to another hotel within 24 Hours. The Hotel is not suitable for Family Stay as per our experience.
