Schwedenkrone

Stayed here with a racing team, just needed bed & breakfast as long days racing. Many hotels were fully booked as the racing is very popular. Read the reviews and was not looking forward to staying! However was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is not perfect but compared with other hotels in the area it was good value. The rooms were basic but clean. Just one naff pillow was a bit poor but im sure they would've supplied another if I'd asked! No tea / coffee making facility in the room and one plastic cup in the bathroom.. Apart from these basics the room was ok, the breakfast buffet was good, continental with a good choice of meats, cheese, cereals etc, some egg and bacon. Could have as much as you like. The bar was a bit sparse on variety but adequate, closed about 10.30pm. The restaurant was popular with locals, good value and good food. Generally fairly basic but value for the area. A few basic improvements would help a lot. Close to a main road and hospital so you get quite a few sirens ( in uK they try not to turn on sirens after 11pm)! I would stay again as the staff were friendly and it served our need. Sure if you spend more you can find better but isn't this always the case!
