Boutique Hotel by Juuls

The Boutique Hotel is located in the center of Domburg, a sweet little village in Zeeland and is above a restaurant that belongs to the hotel. We had the suite (#6) with a comfortable king-size boxspring bed, a great bathroom with a tub and a double rain-shower and a big terrace with lounge chairs. You could see the sea from there. The room was very clean and quiet, despite facing the main street. One downside might be the steep stairs that you have to navigate. It wasn’t a problem for us, and the staff would certainly offer to help with the luggage, but the steps are rather narrow, so if you have a problem with walking, this hotel isn’t for you, since all the rooms are at least on the first floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everybody spoke fluent German (and English, I assume), so communication was easy. Breakfast is included in the roomrate and served at the table with a small buffet aside, which contains several spreads and jams, butter and muesli. You can order eggs to your liking, any kind of coffee speciality, fresh juices and yoghurt extra. If you happen to be vegetarian, say this up-front, otherwise you get cold meats and salami as well. Staying at ‘By Juuls’ is not a cheap option, but it’s still good value for your money and I’d fully recommend the hotel.
