I stayed here for one night on my way down to Provence and quite enjoyed it. It's definitely a step up from the hostels I'm used to staying in. The room I was in was small but cosy and clean. The dinner was more than satisfactory to the needs of a hungry traveler. The breakfast, on the other hand, was rather simple (bread, croissants and coffee and yoghurt, cheese, etc...).
All in all worth a visit.

We (2 adults, 3 children) stayed here for one night and found the hotel to be excellent value for money.  The bedroom was dated but had a double bed and a large safa bed for the children, tea making facilities and en suite bathroom with a very big bath.  For an extra 10e we rented a travel cot for our baby and the room only bill only came to 75e compared with 149e for similar in another hotel in the same town.   The best surprise was the set dinner menu in the restaurant which was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. Great attention to detail with silver cutlery, linen napkins and table cloths, quality furnishings and a really nice atmosphere.  We didn't have breakfast in the hotel and were able to pay the bill the night before which meant we could leave earlier than usual. The hotel is located opposite the tourist office but was neither recommended nor offered as an option by the otherwise helpful staff.

Perfect stopover on the way South

Basic but brilliant

We came here for lunch.  The welcome was warm but from then on it was downhill.  We had the 22 Euro set menu.  Portions were enormous but any finesse in either cooking or presentation was sadly lacking.  The salad-style starter had some hard-to-identify ingredients in it, and oddly, a leaden seeded roll (which had obviously failed to rise and should have been discarded)  The trout was barely warm, overcooked and covered, for some reason, in clumps of soggy stale bread chunks. The risotto was a soggy, brown, tasteless mess, with thick slabs of poultry on top and smothered in viscous brown sauce.  I normally have a hearty appetite, but I just couldn't face this.  My dessert was apricot flan, also soggy, and the only part I could eat was the (surprisingly very nice) apricot sorbet.  I'm afraid this was the worst restaurant meal I have ever been faced with..  (And one final point; the first chair I sat on had visibly protruding springs coming out of it.  Very uncomfortable, and the one I swapped it for wasn't much better.)  All in all, a dreadful experience.

Pleasant staff - but a considerably less-than-enjoyable meal

The garden is nice to be in but after that it's not been a nice experience for us. The service of the restaurant is nice but completely incapable of serving to multiple tables. The food is bad and there is no good taste to it. We are very disappointed!
