Found this hotel on the internet and liked the look of it. Pleased we booked it as it's a little gem. Very pleasant couple who run the hotel gave us a warm welcome - showed us to our room, gave us directions to the centre of town and left us to our own devices. Nice being trusted in an empty hotel. We went on a wine search in town and returned to find our hosts ready to serve dinner. We both enjoyed our meals and had a drink in the restaurant and settled in for an early night. The atmosphere was totally relaxed and friendly, as if we had been there for years. Most enjoyable. Only one thing stopped this from being perfect for us and that was that the room was just a bit small. However the bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was nice - the coffee was superb. Check out was easy and relaxed. Nice hotel for a good nights sleep and good food.
