Hotel Ponta Nova 

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Ponta Nova. The location is excellent, right by a beautiful beach with very easy access from the hotel. The beachfront area is also lively in the afternoon and evening, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The view from our balcony was absolutely wonderful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable for three people, with two separate rooms, which was a big advantage for us. There is a rooftop pool with a beautiful sea view. However, the pool itself is quite small and not really suitable for swimming — it is more a place to relax in the water and enjoy the amazing view. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was very good and varied, with a great selection of fruits, nuts, salads, vegetables and other options. Full marks for breakfast. The cleanliness was also excellent. Our room was cleaned early every morning, and everything was kept very tidy. The staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We called reception several times with different requests, and they responded and brought what we needed very quickly. The only minor negatives were the small swimming pool, the rather limited parking space, and the beds and pillows, which were a little firm for our preference. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and especially loved the location, the beach, the sea view, the breakfast and the excellent service from the staff.
