19 reviewsWe spent an awesome week at Pod Zvicinou. Our first ski trip with our family of 5. Starting at the slope right in front of the Hotel to make our first moves on ski's. Excellent service by Eric who supports the ski-gear rental right from the hotel and subsequently provided excellent ski-lessons for all (amazing how much patience one can have...). After a few days we made it to the bigger ski areas - all within less than an hours drive. Part of the hotel was renovated and further improvements were ongoing. We can't wait to see the completion of the new (spacious) section. Don't expect extreme luxury in the rooms of this family hotel: fairly basic rooms for a fairly basic price. Food and drinks are all good - also ask for the daily (fresh) specials. Other great elements: library room with vintage interior, wood fire heated hot tubs (right in the snow under a beautiful starry sky :). Our kids had lots of fun with the owner's kids (Rob, Floortje and Marieke). Thanks Nancy and Eric for an extremely relaxing week. We'll be back!!!
