We stayed overnight while passing through the Black Forest. Bit of a language barrier, but that's on us and it seems very few English speaking tourists pass through. That said, hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and the beds were amongst the most comfortable I've slept in. Interior dated, but tastefully so in a way they looks retro James-Bond. Breakfast plentiful, fresh and tasty! At this price point (£50 a night for two at high season) this is outstanding value. Free parking too!
