Six years on and we are back post COVID with a party of 44 pupils. The hotel was full of Spanish pensioners on a subsidised deal of 10 nights with entertainment, half board and wine for €250. This keeps the pensioners happy and healthy and the hotels open. What a great idea! My first floor room was spacious and clean with a wonderful sea view. Cleaning is meticulous throughout the hotel. The decor is somewhat tired, but food is plentiful and varied. Packed lunches were a bit dull, but the fullboard option is fantastic to ensure children have been provided with lunch. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The beach is under five minutes away. The resort is quiet and not far from Barcelona and Port Aventura. Better in my opinion than Tossa which is a long drive to both. An excellent base. A very enjoyable return visit for a school party. I am not sure I would love it for a family fortnight. In that case it just would not live up to four star expectations due to the more classic decor and need of a crowd pleasing refurb.
