The hotel was a beautiful old house retaining many of its original features. Very relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff and proprietors. The room was large and simple with a good sized bathroom. We had a balcony overlooking the front garden, though it is such a quiet place, there was no noise. We were able to eat outside on the terrace and had excellent food. Breakfast was the loathed buffet, but there was a staff member in attendance. Wonderful traditional standards of French hostellery. Great independent hotel. Worth noting also that parking was really easy.
