Room with all required facilities, recent furniture and bathroom, clean as desirable. Quite interesting for visitors to some departments from the University of Warsaw.  
The place is not easily found, you must find your way following small roads within a central Hospital "Campus". After being there no real problem, short distance to a main street.
The breakfast was enough but always exactly the same (a box with ham, cheese and salad) plus assorted drinks, bread, cereals... Access to the breakfast room only by stairs.
No drinks or food available from self service machines as alternative to a bar (not available also).

Convenient but could easily be better

We had a horrible experience with this hotel. Our flight landed around noon and we spent like 2 hours looking for the placement of the hotel because it was dark and there wasn't any indication to find it. Once there, the girl from the reception told us that the reservation was cancelled because of the delayed time of our arrival. She also added that we could have called, but we didn't have any battery left. She didn't ask for our passports. The room was tiny and not the one we initially booked, however we stayed because we were exhausted and we wanted to rest. We didn't have hair dryer or soap to have a shower, and the mattress was very bad to even try to sleep. I don't recommend to stay here.  

Awful experience! 

Hotel Lokum is a lovely hotel, that is furnished mainly with furniture from IKEA. The hotel is clean, warm and comfortable. Although it is set back from the road and a little hidden there are good transport links to the center of Warsaw via tram or bus. The staff were very helpful and spoken good English. I would highly recommend hotel Lokum.

A lovely hotel

I stayed for 12 nights at Hotel Lokum recently because of its convenience to the CSK-MSW hospital where my husband had surgery. The hotel is on the same campus as the hospital complex, which is vast and confusing. Once I got my bearings, however, it was relatively easy to find my way to the various stores and to the main street where you can get tram and bus to take you to Galeria Mokotow (fabulous shopping mall), metro station or downtown. The main attraction of the hotel in my opinion is that it is perfectly quiet, all day long (unless there is construction work or you have a crying baby next door, which did happen to me at the end of my stay). The hotel was very clean (it looks rather new). The room had no frills but everything I needed and the bed was good. The staff is minimal but very nice and helpful and the receptionists, all young women, speak English.  There are not a lot of restaurants nearby, but I found one I liked; there are also a lot of small shops where you can buy food and drink not far away. Coffee and tea are free and there is yogurt and good bread for breakfast except on weekends. A box breakfast with slices of ham and cheese, butter and tomato slices costs 6 zloty; I ordered it once and decided it wasn't worth it, but Poles like to eat meat for breakfast so most other guests did order the box. all in all, this was a great choice for under 160 zl a night.

Comfy, convenient, cheap hotel in an unlikely location

We booked hotel lokum as we were In Warsaw to watch the europa league final. Very close to the tram stops and 5 minutes walk to the train station. 
Nice and quiet and rooms were cosy everything we needed
