I do not recoemmend ever staying here not only becasue the overweight male staff was so rude and abusive to the hotel dog but also becasue they do not clean there are roaches and the owner Damaris is a horrible person.  I and my boyfriend offered to pay Damaris's very sick dog becasue she is neglfectful and abusive and the f=dog is starving to death.  I saw the overweight male staff not feed the dog but feed a feral cat and Damaris declined our money to get the dog medical attention.  She is a very hateful person. There were roaches everywhere the overweight male does not clean and he is so bizarre he was waking us up at 1am washing somehting really loudly in the plantless courtyard outside out rooms it was a house of horrors.

We had a very poor experience with the restaurant. We didn’t stay overnight as we didn’t even dare to ask how much a room was - the staff is so RUDE. My friend and I stopped at la terrazas to have a bite and use WiFi as soon as we arrived in coban - after a week in the jungle with no internet. I asked for a vegetarian fajita and I received a plate of boiled potato, carrot and courgette which they call ‘salad’. Astonished, I asked for at least tortilla and frijoles and when the bill came the whole plate was more expensive than elaborate meat dishes. I said it was unfair and I got called a usual gringo. Not only food & service are BAD but the staff is also PATHETICALLY RUDE. Best to avoid. 

AVOID - rude staff, awful food 

Below modest: cockroaches (I killed 5 and missed 2) and cold showers were the most memorable aspect of this hotel. A lot of street noise penetrates, and we heard people in the adjoining room too.  The sheets were dirty. Poor mattresses and pillows. Electrical outlets hang from the walls. Not a good choice if other places are available. 

Staff is nice, though.

This hotel location very good who want to stay city center. Near of Central Park. From my room view was very cute. Price is cheap and stuff are very friendly. It's budget hotel but service excellent. I like my stay there.

Me and my girlfriend spent a night in the hotel. It was in a good part in the center of Cobán. The room was good enough for a night and it wasn't expensive. If you have to stay in Cobán for a night it is really good. But the room didn't look like on the pictures the hotel uploaded here.
The staff was really nice and helpful.

If I have to make a stop in Cobán again, I would go there again.
