I have read the other reviews of this place. I don't doubt the negative comments, but our stay there was entirely positive. Our room was clean, it had a balcony (with a view of the cathedral), and hotel service was great. Its inexpensive, tiny restaurant was good, with homemade dishes. Its location is perfect, about 1/2 block from the cathedral. Outside was loud, but, hey, it was Morelia's primary holiday, El Dia De Los Muertos. The cost was low. A perfect place for a wonderful holiday! You naysayers should try speaking Spanish, and not expect the world to speak English for your convenience.
