Hôtel Fleuritel

You get what you pay for.  Just off the motorway, easy to find.  Near restaurants, fuel.  It's a bit worn, but not dirty!  Front desk spoke English.  Breakfast had cheese and meat.....unlike an ibis budget.
The only disappointment was the hand held sprayer to be used as a shower.  Difficult.

On a budget?  This place is fine

We stayed here on a recent trip at the end of June.  The hotel had a favourable review on another web site. The staff at reception were friendly, they allowed us to park our motorcycles close to our room and secure them but the premises was run down.  There was plaster and paint fallen from the ceiling on the communal balcony, the walls in the bed room were marked as was the floor, with some on cigarette burns on the vinyl floor covering. One of the beds had some slats missing and shower had no curtain or wall bracket to hang the shower head from so an interesting experience.  The sheets, towels and generally the room was clean and the continental breakfast was reasonable.  Consisting of ham, two cheeses, orange juice, two choices of cereal bread and of course croissants and coffee.  The hotel does appear to be trying to improve, new concrete stairs are being created and they appear to be redecorating but I would not stay there again unless future reviews stated that it had improved. There are plenty of other chain hotels in this location which I'm sure would offer a better experience at a similar price.  This motel appeared on our visit to mainly frequented by trades men and builders who arrived late and left early.  It's on a main road and well out of the centre of the town.

We only stayed because this place had a favourable review in a guide book but how wrong could it be?  The rooms are small, sparsely furnished with what appears to be DIY furniture installed 30 years ago.  A shelf for a desk/dressing table and one chair.  Another shelf with a few coat hangers under.  A TV and a bed.  One hand towel, one bath towel to share between two of us.
Breakfast was OK but the one member of staff on duty apologised as we went in as she had to go out for ten minutes.
Seriously, save your money and go to the F1 over the road.
