We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fita. It is located in the museum district of Amsterdam, which is quieter than some of the other parts of the city. Our room was spacious by European standards, and it was sunny and comfortable. It was quiet at night, although it is located by a school and the noise of children playing (and sometimes screaming) was often heard during the day. Since we were usually out during the daytime that didn’t bother us much. Breakfast was good, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean, and there was daily housekeeping if you wanted it. And as a bonus, the hotel has an elevator! That’s something you don’t often see in these old buildings.
