Hotel Fazenda Itacorá

A few miles upstream from the world famous iguaçu falls lies a cosy and comforable farm hotel that takes you away from the buzz and place you in a cradle of hospitality and nature awakening. Upon arrival late at night we were quickly checked in and placed at ease to rest our feet from a long journey, the owner Denise personally made sure we are well taked care of giving us a full tour of the property the next morning. Concerning the cuisine the only problem you made have is overindulgement as each plate from morning to night is made up with perfection, gourmet style. All compliments to the chef. My son loved the tree house and playgroung and there wasn't a bore moment for him throughout our stay giving me good hearts rest. Each room has its own unique decoration, elegant but highlighting a particular taste. The hotel is new and still has much room for improvement but the facilities are well decorated and sufficed, we lazily enjoyed the heated and cool swimming pools after exploring the beautiful animal and plant life found on the property. We truly felt at home and would recommend to any world traveller who would like to getaway for a few days deep into a refuge surrounded by the lush atlantic forest and still Itaipu lake.
