Hotel Erfurter Tor

We were there in June, and August, we stayed twice
Wonderful hotel with a super friendly staff, and a very nice kitchen
Both breakfast and dinner are amazingly well, both food as service !

Rooms are perfect, clean, and good beds, in shrot a perfect hotel if you have to stay in Sommerda for what ever reason

It is situated right in the center of Sommerda, and they also have free parking

Recommended hotel !

We found the hotel to be in a convenient location, the rooms were clean with fresh towel each day. The breakfast had everything that we could possibly eat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommended it to anybody who was staying in the area.

We have a had a enjoyable weekend at the Erfurter Tor, This was our fourth time in the hotel we ways stay here when visting friends. The breakfast is exalt with cold meets, cheese, fruit and yogurts also you can have fried or srcabble eggs. 

The rooms are keeped nice and clean, we asked them on one of the days not to do the room as we had come back before the maid had been in, But then later when we went out they did the room which was not experted.

Hotel Erfurter Tor Sommerda

We booked this hotel for 2 nights as there was a restaurant on site.
On our arrival on Friday we were told that the restaurant remained closed, as there was a family party on Saturday, so no restaurant for us on those two days. At breakfast on Saturday there was just a place left over for us in a corner of the room, as the family guests also came to have breakfast, we were simply put aside!
On the breakfast buffet there was no fresh juice, no fresh fruits, and very small glasses for the juice.
As for the room, it was spacious and clean, in the bathroom the shower was on the small side and also slippery, and no handhold!
There was only one chair in the room!
We did get a list of available restaurants in the area.
We find the requested price too high, so not at all in line with the delivered quality, especially when we compare this hotel with all the other hotels we visited during our trip.


Two nights in Soemerda.

I stopped at the Erfurter hotel on a short stop over.  The rooms are basic with the main needs for anyone.  My room was on the rear of the hotel and unfortunately with no aircon i needed the windows open however as i was over the beer garden it was very noisy until at least midnight which after an early start wasn't the best.  
We had a meal at the hotel and all the staff were very polite and helpful and the meal was good.
