Hotel Erbaylar

We could not get into the Yuksel Hotel which is just up the road (no vacancies, the only time this happned in three weeks in Turkey). We dragged our bags a couple of hunderd metres down the road to this hotel. The female hotel porter grabbed our large bags and lifted them into the lobby. We booked the hotel because we had no real alternatives, we bargained the price down from 140 to 120tl which included breakfast. I think we were the only people staying in the hotel but for the money it was good. Staff spoke little English. The wife was free and fast. The room was neat, larger than the usual 70tl rooms we had been staying in. It's location is quite central, and if you like a beer, there is a typical Turkish pub next door. The breakfast was the usual Turkish fare but corn flakes too. Overall, I'd recommend it, it was certainly quite and it had a little balcony. The shower was good and the water hot. Not bad.
