Hotel Dimitra Zeus

The negative reviews you will most likely read about this hotel are purely misleading and, most probably, based on unrealistic expectations. Granted, you're not booking at the Hilton here; but still it's as good as it gets. The location of the hotel is charming and tranquil; all rooms are equipped with something more than the essentials: good beds, properly functioning air conditioning, bathrooms larger than one you would find on a studio in the city, refrigerator and sink (some might actually be cozier than that). It's a little far from the sea (about 1200 feet), but that's actually a non-issue, provided that you choose the right (i.e. with much shade from trees and buildings) way to the beach. The town is gorgeous, not lacking one thing a tourist would ask for. As for the owner, Ms Dimitra, she is one of the kindest people we've ever met; if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask her! She knows everything about the town and is always eager to help! Summarizing, this hotel was one of the key factors that contributed to my girlfriend's and my enjoying our vacation. 5 stars out of 5, no ifs, ands or buts!
