Such a lovely calm hotel right in the centre of Montargis! The room was warm and very clean and the bed was perfect. The Owner was warm and welcoming and happy to let me try out my imperfect French. He was very helpful as we arrived on a Sunday evening and most restaurants were closed. We went to his recommendation "Friends" a little Lebanese restaurant just around the corner, where the food was impeccable. In the morning the breakfast was more than we could manage and the Owner gave us a doggy bag to take as we continued our journey. There is a lovely terrace which must be perfect in the Summer for breakfast with views of various ancient Montargis roofs. The famous Praline shop is just around the corner, but you can buy them for less from the Hotel. Do go, it was a delight. We will go again!
