We booked two rooms here for our family for one night. They were friendly and helpful with checking in and out. Our rooms were spartan but clean and comfortable beds, breakfast was good. We walked into Esch-Sur-Sure on a nice 3 kilometer walk along the river. They also have a great pizza restaurant with the hotel. We would come back here again if we are ever in the area.

Friendly reception and staff. Quick and correct operation. Nice portions and acceptable price. Spacious parking (at the back) Start for beautiful walks.  Only stop in restaurant. NO comments to add for hotel self

Nice meals for acceptable prices

Me and my partner are camping on the other side of the road and wanted something different! We stopped by hotel Bissen and were glad we did.
Our starters: the escargots (with herbs and garlic) and tomatosoup, which both were very flavourfull. 
As main courses we had a variety of pastas. And boy they were good! My plate was filled with lasagna, cheesy tortellini and penne in a red creamy tomatosauce, topped with a cheese gratin.
My partner devoured a plate with the same tortellini, pasta al arrabiata and tagliatelle with fresh green pesto. Very very good!

Such a wonderfull diner!

This hotel has only a few rooms but has a large restaurant catering for residents, passing trade and local campers.  This is an ideal holiday area for families and ramblers.  Indeed, it is only a fairly short walk along the river to Esch where one can stop for a coffee, climb up to the castle etc.
The hotel rooms face to the road at the front or to the river and fields at the back.  Parking is just off the road to the front but if that is full ask the staff and they will probably be able to find you a spot elsewhere.
The restaurant serves Italian cuisine and has its own pizza oven openly visible.  Service is friendly but also efficient as it has to be in busy times.
During our stay we visited Wiltz, about 12 kms away where they have an annual music festival.

Friendly hotel and restaurant in pleasant location

The hotel is in the middle of mountains with beautiful surroundings. We decided to eat fish dishes for the evening and wasn't disappointed. From Fish soup and Escargots for Entrees and Main meal we had Cat fish and Trout, healthy portions with salads and roast potatoes.  Not forgetting the deserts too ... The restaurant has there own pizzeria and makes beautiful pasta dishes as well.
