I stayed in a double room for two nights, traveling with friends. This is a small hotel in Meerholz, a mile or two outside Gelnhausen. Easy access to A-66. The room, with TV and mini-bar, was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable and bathroom w/shower had all amenities. Claudia, the owner, greeted us on arrival and provided excellent advice as where to dine and shop. Breakfast was lovely - fresh cold cuts, fruits, breads and much, much more, including eggs and bacon made to order. Good location for us as we were sightseeing in the area - short, scenic drives to castles and medieval towns. We did not find road noise a problem at all as noted in another review, actually found our stay quite quiet. Highly recommend this hotel for any type of traveler looking for great value and service.
