I couldn't do other than laugh of how bad the customer service was.

The hostel in itself is of very low standards. Yet I could see that in the pictures so wasn't a surprise. 

However customer service could have made up for it. But no. The receptionists seems to be the "I'm right, the customer is always wrong" type of people and their arrogance and dislike of running a hotel really comes through very obviously.

The only positive was that the hotel seemed to be clean (as clean as a dump can be).

Glad to finally be out of there. 

Bad customer service 

When traveling in copenhagen, finding a reasonable deal seems near imporrible, however, value is where its at when staying in hotel Jørgensen. Basic but comfortable rooms, where one pretty much is just using it as base anyhow. The breakfast is decent and leaves you fed for the remainder of the morning.the staff are friendly, and ready to offer tips on the city and a smile. 

Second time staying with hotel, with a location hard to beat, especially when factoring in costs.

One issue to be aware of: the bathrooms are fairly gross, and in need of a makeover, specifically in area of tile grout and plumbing. Not too much of an issue when make your peace with all other elements of the stay, but perhaps worth while finding a way to make the pipes not smell of egg...

Good value for what it's worth

We stayed here for a few nights as the location is very good and the hostel was pretty well priced.
You have to pay extra for bedding and towels.
Hostel gets very hot at night. We had fans going in the room but you can’t leave the window open as it opens onto the street and anybody could just enter. It was also very busy outside and lots of weirdos around.
Lockers in the rooms with a lock. Don’t fit a small suitcase but ok sizing otherwise.
Beds were comfortable enough. Pillows thin.
One shower amongst many...not ideal but we made it work. A few toilets which was good.
Staff were nice.
Had some lovely travellers in our room bar one who was a psycho and woke everyone up late at night and then proceeded to strip naked in front of all. But can’t blame the hostel for that one ;p

Average and well priced

I was here for 1 night with a friend of mine.  His opinion was that there are even better hostels in India for 1 euro.  The staff was not cheerful and uninterested.  The beds were nothing short of terrible.  Really not recommended.  In most hostels bed linen is included in the price.  Here you have to rent it and I only found out after the reservation.  Who, by the way, brings his bedding?  Euhh ...nobody!

Sorry, never again. Please take an other one.

Old and wornout building. Sleep almost impossible because of the heat and noice from the street. Also, the reception had open 24/7, so people kept coming in. It would have been better if I were backpacking alone. 
Disappointed and not worth the money.

As a hostel in 8 pers. Dorm

Our room was Nr. 37. Simple, very clean, comfortable. Two remarks,though : A. the wash-basin was very small and very close to the mirror-shelve.   B. the latch of the window (giving to Israels Plads) didn't work. So, security was not 100% guaranteed. Τhe staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. All in all a good value for money choice, considering that you are within walking distance to Norreport metro station, parks and other Copenhagen sight-seeings.

3 nights,2 1/2 Days in Copenhagen

I stayed in the hostel part for one night with 9 friends.

I usually try to see the positives in everything so this is my realistic review of this place, pros and cons and just the facts:

- it's a hostel and a hotel but I'm reviewing the hostel part.
- there are quite a few rooms with different amount of beds and also only girl, boy room or mixed.
- we couldn't stay in the same room together and I was in an all girl room with one friend and two girls we didn't know.
- you need to make your own bed with the linen provided by the reception. There are no free towels but you can rent one from the Reception.
- there is enough toilets and showers although busy times  you might need to wait a little bit. I found both the toilet and shower facilities fine considering the place itself - they were clean, pressure was fine and the shower was quite spacious.

Positives:

LOCATION: 5* - very central, very close to the Metro and also to the amazing food market where we had lunch on the first day and breakfast on the second. Prices are normal on their level and the food is great with lots and lots of choices.

LOCKERS: As it happens, we arrived too early so we had to store our bags in lockers. I put it as a positive as it's a great option to have but I have to say, going down all the way to the basement area and store our bags in these very basic lockers did feel a bit frightening at first. We knew to bring our own lock so it was all good and at the end of the day it was only our bags that had to stay there and not us so all fine. We were allowed to leave our bags there the next day once we checked out but went to sightseeing.

CLEANLINESS: Considering some parts of the building it was actually clean - toilets did smell a bit funny but still clean and also the rooms.

SERVICE: all staff we spoke to was polite and check-in and out was quick.

Negatives:

ROOM AND BED: Firstly it was extremely hot in the room, I would say at least 28-30C. And while there was a window since we're on street level we didn't want to leave it open. There was also a fan but you don't want it to be on all night. Also, there are no steps to the upper beds but a ladder is provided in the room. It was just very inconvenient considering we went out while the two strangers were sleeping when we got back. You shouldn't really care that much in a hostel but still... Our room was also tiny, very uncomfortable for 4 people. On the positive side, you do get a locker with a key where you can - and you should - leave all your stuff.

All in all, I wouldn't stay here again, not in the hostel bit. I felt really uncomfortable especially in such a small place with strangers - I know that is what a hostel is about but I stayed in hostels before and I didn't feel so uncomfortable with strangers in the same room. And while the place as a whole is clean and quite nice with social areas it was not for me. I guess the fact how much you like it or not depends on your past experiences and priorities as well. I guess I just expected a better value from Denmark.

This review is realistic - and a review of the hostel part not the hotel

+The location is great, it's just 15 min to the city centre and there are a few beautiful parks nearby. Each main sightseeing is in a walk distance and there is no need to use public transport at all. Staff is very helpful, friendly and polite. Overall experience is positive as consider this place only for a sleepover.

-There are no enough sockets in a room, if you turn the heater on there are only few left for all guests. I found this very inconvenient. The condition of a showers could've been better but it's fine for not a picky and squeamish person.

A good value for money to stay for a few days (Hostel, bed in a 6beds room)

The location is truly good, quite close to the centre: Parliament, Tivoli amusement park, etc., is up to 20mins by walk. There is a park with greenery and pond just behind the building, skati g park and place for great and cheap food just outside of the entrance.
This place has two facilities in one building, hotel and hostel. I was staying in the hostel. The place looks pretty nice and clean, but the hostel was not that good. I've been to cheaper and better in Copenhagen. The hostel is on the basement level, tight space and the showers are even deeper down the basement, where you can easily get lost. Women shower had two separate cabins and one of them was big with like 4 shower heads (talking about privacy :D). The bunk beds where not the best too,  there were no ladders and people were scared to get on the upper beds. But other than that all was good.

The hotel is easy to get to and pretty close to everything you might want to experience in Copenhagen. It is one of the cheapest hostels you can find from the city. 

The rooms were clean and there were  showers in our dormitory room. There are extra showers in downstairs as well. My mattress was thin and I felt it while I was sleeping. 

As a customer I did not find that the staff was interested in my experience or very eager to tell about the city. The good thing is that there should be service 24/7 so you can leave your room key and the key of the locker to the reception. They have warm water for free!
