My wife and I were here for a week long fishing trip and thoroughly enjoyed our week here! I hired a guide for the 1st day so we could get acquainted with Leech Lake and where to fish for walkeye! George Wells was my guide and I highly recommend him. He showed me how to rig for slip bobber fishing. We stayed in a room at the Poolside Inn, with a wonderfull lakeside view! The room was comfortable and they have an indoor pool, which we used twice...on the lake most of the time! The dockhand, Cody, was great. We had our boat in the slip for the week and he was there to help tie up the boat, get gas for us. And even cleaning our fish if we wanted him to! The fishing was very good! We had the Iron Grill cook up some of our fish for us. It was only $13 per person and included crispy battered french fries and sides...we had the baked beans and soft bread rolls. The owners and office staff were super friendly and very down to earth. Ive already booked another trip for October!
