Adventure Hotel Hof

Loved the layout of the room. Had four individual beds and great space. The towel rack is heated. The staff were so welcoming and helpful.

Great stop along the way and not too far from Glacier lagoon that it makes for a great stopping point.  Restaurant at hotel available, not many other food choices around.  If you have kids - request a room on the top floor - the footsteps of people overhead were loud. Luckily everyone goes to bed by 10 pm

Great location to diamond beach and national park.

Adventure Hotel Hof was great! The hotel was lovely and set in a picturesque location. Check in was easy, and we were able to park right outside our room to make it easier to bring in our luggage (as there was no elevator). We chose to dine at the hotel and were not disappointed! The food was lovely and the service impeccable. In fact, all of the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast the following morning was also very well stocked so you won’t go hungry!

Very nice hotel with an excellent view. The room was super clean and everything was very cool. There was a happy hour and the food was also very good.

We enjoyed our brief stay.  Very friendly staff, clean and beautiful property.

Absolutely setene property with great staff, good food and had everything we needed. Hot shower, hot meal, comfortable accommodations,  great parking,  great views of aurora, friendly staff, and beautiful mountainous vackdrop. The church at the proprty was very unique. We highly recommed anyone this place.

Excellent service, overall clean rooms except for the bathroom smelled very musty. The restaurant was really good for dinner and the continental breakfast was great too. The rooms were very small and there were a few things that were a bit rundown or needed repair (the window wouldn't open, one light fixture was broken, and pillows were extremely flat). The mountain view from the rooms is beautiful and you can see/hear sheep in the fields all evening. Overall good stay and with a little bit of TLC this hotel could be amazing!

Stayed in a double room in the white building not attached to the main hotel building. Room quite nice and spacious. Bathroom a bit cramped as toilet paper in a locked dispenser rather than just on a roll holder. Toiletries nothing special and no shampoo. There was a squeaky door in the corridor and someone kept going in and out around 1030 which kept me from going to sleep.Wonderful views though.Friendly staff. Breakfast was included and had a reasonable selection with juice, cereals, breads, some hot dishes, cheese etc. Easy drive back for Jokarlson glacier boat trip.

Main building, restaurant, food, and staff were good, but our rooms in the back building was not great. The room was very small and cheap. I was afraid to use the towel hanger as it was falling off the wall. Bathroom fan was very loud. There was some beeping alarm going off in the hall every 20 minutes. Outlet wouldn’t charge my laptop. We were in Iceland for 10 days and this was the worst room we had. Parked my was difficult for the back building. View was of the back side of the front building. Bed was against heater and under the window.

Rooms had ample space, and staff was so friendly. They even notified us that the Auroras were abundant outside! Such a great perk! Hotel was very convenient to our glacial hike the next morning with Troll (4 minutes down the highway!).Would have loved the option for a quad room rather than than requiring 2 rooms and splitting the family up. Dinner was pricey, but veggie pasta and dessert were yummy!

Located on the edge of a tiny village, this hotel has a swanky vibe.  As with nearly all the hotels we stayed in Iceland, our room was in a long narrow annex.  While decorated nicely, the walls in these annexes are not sound-proof, so neighbor noise can be a problem.  Good shower and ample breakfast (included in room rate).  We had dinner at the hotel as well:  meal was delicious, but very small portions; friendly service.

We had stayed for one night. The hotel is located in a village, very quiet place just off the highway. The hotel is nice & clean, the team is friendly. The breakfast was good, although they could offer more options. If you plan to have a dinner, consider contacting the hotel ahead of time. The restaurant is not very big, and I think that guests from other hotels might use it as well.

The rooms were small and somewhat Spartan, but they were clean (there was a funny smell in one of our bathrooms but we were so wiped out by the time we arrived that we didn't complain--we were only there one night). The food in the restaurant was really good--surprisingly so for a place so remote and with few other local options. Staff were very friendly, and the proximity to Diamond Beach was nice.
