The terrace have eccentric view of kanchanjunga, better than tiger hills. Secondly the staff pramila is very homely and accommodating. The catch of this place is its situated uphill 5-7 mins from main road. But one must be prepared for it if visiting darjeeling famously known as queen of hills. You can order food as per your choice and pramila can provide it. if one is looking to have homley feel in mountain then i will definitely recommend this place.

The natural beauty of Darjeeling can be felt at this wonderful hotel nested away in the greenery. Warm hospitality and service from the owner and staff. Must visit with family and friends. Water is not a problem if one is aware of the hill water crisis and is mentally prepared. The staff takes great measures to keep customers happy. Try it out.

New hotel in terms of infrastructure, warm hospitality, VFM. It has everything tucked in. The deal was good, people were friendly, food was okay. Given a choice yes I can go back again which I can say right now.

The owner of this modest hotel was extremely gracious, kind and helpful. The rooms were spotless, as were the bathrooms, but bucket baths were necessary through no fault of theirs, but it being Darjeeling. 

A lovely rooftop that felt exclusive since few patrons use it, weak internet (again no fault of the hotel), but both the service and the kindness made up for all of that. 

GREAT value for money- the cleanliness (which is my top priority, all the time), was very impressive, especially for this part of the world. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Darjeeling.

I was disappointed in the hotel.  Room was very cold and damp. Mostly only a few drops of water to shower.  You can't reach the hotel by car.  Have to walk quite a distance on a very steep path which was very difficult after a tiring day.  The staff was very friendly and service good.

First time in Darjeeling

Hotel staff only come at the time of check in and check out.No facility provided during stay time.no tea, no coffe,no water,no cartel,no landline for communication to hotel staff.very bad services.No one should stay at this hotel.

My actual rating is a zero. The Manager of the hotel is absolutely a terrible person. He denied us room as we had booked through Goibibo and had made online payment. He said they only accept cash payment. Such unacceptable behavior when you have your family waiting to check-in. The hotel location is also bad. You have a walk upwards for a long duration to reach. Eventually I didn't stay here. Avoid this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels at the same price near Mall Rd.

AVOID this HOTEL

There were 17 of us staying in this hotel for 1 night. 

Firstly, they have poor management system. Secondly, the manager of this hotel misbehaved with us. Because of calling him several times for our tour jeep which was supposed to be there at 9.00AM. 

The workers of this hotel told us to get ready & go at 9.00AM. But, we were standing there for almost an hour. There were sick people among us. 

The only thing we complained about was, they could've let us stay there until the jeep arrived.

Because we called the manager several times during this hour for the jeep, he misbehaved and said things like, "Am I your servant?, Do whatever you can to me?, Will the car fly here? Etc" Not only he pointed and cussed to our elders, he literally bragged about how great a businessman he is. 

The only thing we expected was to have a good experience. But their management and behavior literally shocked us. 

We are tourists, we pay to stay here. But these behaviors leave a bad impression for not only them but the whole area as well.

Note: Those of you who are thinking that we could've gone back to hotel when it was getting late, let me clear that out. The road for the hotel is up and very long for even a healthy person. So because of having sick elders among us, we couldn't just go up & down as we wished. Therefore, we waited for an hour just for that.
