Hillcrest House Bed & Breakfast

If you stay at the Hillcrest House, you will NOT be disappointed. Stefan and Wendy are the most gracious and knowledgeable hosts you can find. Their fabulous service began before we even arrived. Stefan was most helpful selecting OctoberFest Festhallen so we could pre-purchase tickets for the kind of experience we were looking for. Once we arrived, the benefits were constant. Our trip occurred during the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. These gracious hosts insisted that we join them for their Thanksgiving dinner!! When Wendy noticed that our OctoberFest hats were not decorated with pins, they insisted that we take some of their pins so that we didn't "look like tourists". Stefan gave us a variety of destinations for us to take bike rides. We loved the 46 KM rail trail ride from Cambridge to Paris the best! Our hosts made sure we knew the right restaurants to dine at and the best walking trails to use throughout Waterloo. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed an afternoon pint on the lovely patios outside and you will never leave hungry with the varied and delicious breakfasts that Stefan prepared each day!!
