I loved this quaint property. The owners were so warm and welcoming and the cottage and location next to the beach was wonderful. My favorite part was the breakfast the next morning. Mark made everyone feel welcome and not only served delicious popovers but also took the time to talk to everyone, which just started the day off perfectly. Lovely place to stay!

We didn't get breakfast but people seemed to enjoy it. We loved the ocean view it was calming and beautiful. The service was great and very small and personal vibe. We will return again.

This is our 2nd stay and we will be back!

Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. Homemade popovers, blueberry and lemon poppyseed muffins were wonderful. Mark and Holly were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Camden.

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, and I would definitely stay there again.  Folks were friendly, and our room was nice. You can tell that the property was undergoing severalImprovements, but nothing slowed us down from enjoying our stay there. Great place, just 5 min from downtown Camden.

Everyone was so friendly from the moment we checked in until we checked out. We were only there one evening wish we could have stayed longer beautiful grounds with chairs to sit outside and relax. The room was so clean and the bed and pillows were the best so comfortable!

Such a welcoming place!  Homemade popovers & muffins freshly made for breakfast!  Only a few minutes from town!

Ocean was visible from the porch. The beds were comfy. The shower needs to be redone. Old shower panels and shower head. The space was also small. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a room not a cabin and not the room shown in the advertisement. Breakfast was good but lacking in variety     Hope the new owner will up date a bit. Would stay there again.

The cottage we stayed in was quiet, beautifully finished and felt like the perfect quiet retreat. We loved the pebble beach and the ocean views from the property. We watched the sun rise from our bedroom window, it was perfect. The bedding was super soft and the cottage was warm and cosy. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night!

We just want to thank you for a very nice stay this past week. Your hospitality was fantastic, and Mark deserves much of that credit! His morning popovers and muffins were a great morning treat as well.  The ocean view can't be beat.  The chairs and picnic tables are a great addition to the landscape, allowing folks to simply relax and enjoy the view.Our only suggestion:  It would be nice to have both the porch lights and fireplace be available until 11pm. I believe there was a fix in progress for the lights timing issue.Thanks very much for making our stay such a pleasure.  We will surely stay here again!

Loved our stay here. Location by the water was in easy reach of activities in the state park, on the water, and in the historic “big city” of Camden. Our helpful hosts, Holly & Mark were delightful (as were the breakfast baked goods). Lots of different room types available reflecting the development of the property over the last century. I look forward to seeing where these proprietors take it going forward.

We’re going back some day

We absolutely loved our stay at the High Tide Inn. Holly and Mark were very helpful. The room was wonderful, comfy beds and very clean. The view of the water is so beautiful. Also, the breakfast was so nice - it felt more like breakfast at an inn in Europe. Homemade muffins and popovers, hard boiled eggs and fruit. We would definitely stay again.

Loved, loved, loved our stay!

Very nicely decor. Feels like home. Greatest welcome from Mark and Margo.just love our room, the grounds, the oceanview, our bed is like a pile of clouds. Shower is super. Everything you could want away on a vaca. The outside furniture is great. We just love this place and will be returning. The town of Camden is top shelf in our books! ❤️

This was our last stay on our trip, we wish we would have been able to stay here longer.  It was a very comfortable bed, our cabin was closest to the water (room 24).  The breakfast the next morning was delicious (muffin, popover, juice, fruit, boiled eggs, coffee) and a great price!  If given the opportunity to return to Maine, I would definitely come back to this property.

Hospitality first and foremost leaves nothing to complain about. Holly is bubbly and seems to work around the clock. Mark also made us feel welcome.The Inn needs a few updates, maintenance from age and weather, but was actively being improved upon the whole time we were there. The prices are very appropriate for the improvements still pending and the area. Nothing is cheap on the coast.Our room was in the main building of the Inn and we found it to be exceptionally clean, very tastefully decorated (Oceanside without anchors or “life is a beach” signage.) The main floor area was gorgeous. It was very much a B&B room and so next time I will select a room that is in one of the stand alone buildings- just our preference; we felt like we should whisper.I would have preferred larger towels and a softer mattress, but these are small considerations for such a nice experience. Well worth it knowing that it’s not a cookie cutter Holiday Inn type room. The view, beach access and smell of the salty air were incredible. We will definitely return.
