They have to take a decisionYou are open or you are closed!We choosed this place for the self laundry and the restaurant.At check in they informed su that if we want food we have to eat at the moment (17.30) and the self laundry was not available because “she wants to go home”The only food was the Coop supermarket.

Make a choice

Only stayed for a night, but this place had everything we needed. It is close to the ferry port to Lyngseidet. Host was friendly and spoke enough English to accommodate us with our non-existent Norwegian. Dinner was nice and reasonably-priced, and breakfast was plentiful. Only thing to be wary is that the restaurant was open only until 6pm, but this may have been due to it being low season.

I booked a few days before my departure this guest house and it only offered non-refundable rooms and I do not recommend anyone to do so. I never imagined that my SAS flight would be canceled due to a staff strike so I had to cancel my entire trip as no flight was offered to me and therefore I am not responsible for the situation. I contacted the guest house through the Expedia app and they did not respond, and they did not answer the phone. This guest house is dishonest and greedy because they will re-let this room because it is the high season. I specify that all the 15 other hotels of my canceled trip have agreed to reimburse me and only this guest house has refused any reimbursement. I do not recommend this kind of money-hungry establishment and all hotels or guest houses that only offer non-refundable overnight stays because the future of travel seems quite uncertain between fuel prices, the excessive price of car rentals which have tripled for several months, numerous strikes in airports, flight restrictions, forest fires, extreme weather ... Take only reimbursable establishments

Bad service and greedy behavior - never book non refundable hotels

A terrible snowstorm caught us on the drive up from Tromso.  I had to call to get into the hotel, but that was simple and quick. We appeared to be the only people there that night.The room was what I expected - not five-star, but perfectly adequate for a one-night stay.The next morning, the proprietor was there with a really delicious, filling breakfast waiting for us.  All in all, it was a great experience (except for the snowstorm)!

Nice little hotel

This place is run by a very charming Thai lady, who was helpful and humourous. Apparently she and her husband ran a fishing boat some years ago !  I had a double room for one night on my outward and homeward trips to Nordkapp on a motorcycle in july 2020. With only one room left, and being a bit late she kept the restaurant open and prepared a tasty dinner for this weary traveller. Breakfast would feed a football team, and was of very good quality ...  smoked salmon, omelette, boiled egg, ham, cheese, pate and fruit.  I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the guest house !

MC tur til Nordkapp

Super clean room and a sparkling clean toilet. The room was a bit warm during the night, but I guess these temperatures are rare this high up in the north. Breakfast was all I could've asked for! The staff was very nice and smiling all the time. 

Don't miss out on the breakfast! 

The room is small. Really small. But clean and cosy.
I have been there for only one night, I was passing to Nordkapp.
The breakfast is quite OK, the parking lot is huge and the restaurant (can't remember the name) that you find in the same yard is really nice.

Small, strict but nice

I was told that if I needed to stay in Olderdalen I should try this place and I did. I don't regret it. It is said to be Bed & Breakfast, but has higher standard than many hotels I have visited. The lady running the place is also a great cook and delivers catering and runs a café here. Food was really nice and spicy. (Thai-food). Room was clean and nice with an excellent bed. Lots of channels at the TV and wifi free of charge. The "hotel" is quite new. So if you are travelling along E6 in northern Troms you should try this place.
