Haiku Plantation Inn Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Haiku Suite which provided us one of the best rests of our entire lives. The winds blew perfectly through the screened windows with the ceiling fan also keeping us cool throughout the night. We’ve stayed on Maui many times on the beach, but were surprised how much we loved the inn. It’s a good location if you want to still have restaurants a short drive away, but be further away from tourist central. It’s also a closer drive for sunrise on Haleakala than our normal stays. Breakfast was wonderful with tons of fresh fruit right from the property. There are shared guest fridges if you need to stash food/drinks, guidebooks, menus and they have various items like beach towels you can borrow for the day. There are also plenty of places to sit and enjoy the property inside and out by the little pond full of frogs and little fish, the porch, or around the grounds. Really lovely historic home/Inn. So glad we tried it.
