Great hotel with ample size room and ensuite and in a lovely part of the city. Appears to be views from all the rooms and you will notice many skyscrapers. The city is really a stunning night-lit walking city and from the hotel's excellent location,  you can visit many of the sights as well as restaurants, retail therapy and grocery shops.

Top hotel and location

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The cleaniess of the hotel was impeccable from the entrance, spa, gym, bathrooms throughout the hotel, meeting room and my room. I loved being able to utilize the gym, sauna and steam room any time I wanted to because it was 24/7. The restaurants had amazing food and service. I was able to utilize the concierge service which was the best.

Loved the HOTEL

Welcoming environment, courteous staff, clean, great breakfast variety, located centrally and taxi available around the clock. 15 mins walk to the center of the city. ATMs to withdraw cash using Mastercards is scarce there. Hilton is only 7mins walk from the Mastercard friendly ATM. I think it was reasonably priced too.  Great for families as well as business trips. Mavluda in the front desk was the best reception i ever met.

The hotel does not correspond to 5 stars. 

There were a lot of problems in the room. The main light switch was broken, which caused sparks to fly when it was turned off and the light blinked at night. The room is not heated and cold in winter. The sewage system made a lot of noise when the water was washed away a long time ago. From the shower, a lot of water is poured overboard, because the glass does not close it completely. 

At the time of check-in, there was no dental kit, a sponge for shoes. And the dental kit was not updated every day.

4 days of business trip

My family and I wanted to have breakfast at the Hilton restaurant on 19 October 2022. Everything was fine, and the food was very tasty. Taking away even a single unfinished hot meal was unsatisfactory for me. The entire serving staff was perplexed, and at some point, a manager approached our table and, without greeting anyone, pointed to the plate and said in a very unfriendly tone: "I am here about this omelette - you cannot take it from this restaurant" and left. 

Thus far, I have had a very positive experience with Hilton and other five-star chains, but I have never felt embarrassed or unwelcome until this day at the Hilton Dushanbe. Although I am not aware of any rules in this hotel, a paid customer in the restaurant has the right to take away food that has been personally ordered and paid for. The unprofessional response from manager A surprised me. Until recently, I believed Hilton would train and promote staff that displayed the necessary competence and professionalism to managerial levels. This was clearly not the case, and this was not the response a guest should receive in the hospitality industry. Very disappointing, and never again.

Never again

A hotel of international standard, located very close to Dushanbe airport (if you do not want to fight with unreasonable taxi drivers at the airport and the weather is nice, you can reach the hotel by foot in 35 minutes). I have stayed there many times over the last 3 years and keep coming back. 

There is no mountain view from the the windows on the Northern side any more, as the other side of the Ayni Street has all new buildings.

When talking to the staff, you have to be patient and make sure, that they understand your needs - this will help avoiding surprises.

Safe choice

A wonderful hotel - an island of comfort and relaxation in the capital!  I liked everything - from the meeting at the reception desk upon check-in at the hotel to the check-out, with a kindly ordered taxi to the airport.  The taste of the hotel's restaurants is something you must experience at least once in your life!  Imagine!!!  8 different cuisines of the world in only one restaurant, and there are several of them in the hotel!  The SPA is beyond praise: a huge pool, magical massages and several saunas!  The rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable - a real world of luxury and pleasure.  Remember: Hilton is a brand trusted by millions.  They trust the most important moments of their lives: weddings and vacations!  And Hilton Dushanbe confirms this rule!

WOW Hilton Dushanbe!

Growing economy but the service was top notch!! 5 stars!!! If your open to other cultures and seeing a slowly growing city come here. The airport is a little one and people do ask for money here and there. But which country doesn’t have homeless. Prices are super low compared to the USA 🇺🇸  The dust is kept down somewhat with daily water trucks for the city roads. Airport security at the airport along with baggage claims is questionable 🤨 A lot of beautiful people I wish I could call family, I will be back!

Just wow 🤩

As a Hilton Diamond member for many years I have always got a high class treatment in many Hilton hotels in different countries I stayed.

Unfortunately the situation in Dushanbe is quite the opposite.

In all winter months the hotel did not have a heating system and consequently we had to warm up with electrical heaters in the room, which was brought to my room after several requests. The same was in other hotel premises, including the lobby, where we had to dine wearing winter coats.

When the weather got better it appears that the cooling system was also switched off and can be only turned on individually per room after complaining 4 times. Only after a month of warm weather, the hotel decided to turn on the cooling system for the entire hotel.
 
Room service several times forgot to bring the order, which was delivered cold, after it stayed for more than one hour waiting if someone collects it. And I will not mention many other minor wrongdoings from the hotel staff.
Recently I have asked for the room upgrade, as a diamond member, from my standard room, but was refused by hotel sales manager Mrs. Marina Meshchenko’s based on the instruction given by the manager of the hotel Mr. Gagan Malhotra who had said that I am not eligible for any upgrades because I have a discounted rate through my company. The “discounted” rate by the hotel is actually the same rate that I would get as a Diamond member through Hilton Honors application with only $17 difference. But, Hilton honors application is not accepted by Hilton Dushanbe and therefore this rate has not been taken into consideration. Other than that, I have been told that “personally” I will not get any upgrade when others could use this benefit.  

In Hilton Dushanbe I (and a couple of my colleagues) have been told that we shouldn’t be getting food vouchers as Diamond members because we have discounted rates, and that would be only a favor from the hotel. In addition, they question the complimentary breakfast as Diamond members.  

Beyond all, a few days later we were informed that we would not be eligible for food vouchers anymore and no points could be collected during our stay – claiming that even the points already collected should be given back.
I believe that when such cases happen in the chain of Hilton hotels - crossing out all entitlements, discriminating and humiliating customers will put a stain in Hilton hotels chain.

Unfortunately we have made the decision to leave this hotel right away, after almost three month of staying – besides a six-month stay plan.

Hope that Hilton HQ will take appropriate steps to secure other Hilton guests to experience the same.

Discriminating and Humiliating Treatment!!!

I love the friendly attitude of the staff, the quality of the food at the restaurants, and cleanliness. The shower drain was slow but not too much of a problem.
