The new management has really fixed everything. It's so nice and quiet here. I'm pleased because I need a good rest. Stores close by, the beach close by and the walk-in clinic. The owner and manager are so nice and helpful, I'm so glad we are here

We stood at the Granada Inn last weekend.
We were pleasantly surprised about our room.
Clean and up to date.Will stay again.
Only thing wrong was coffee creamer not offered in the room and towels were a bit small.

Great place, great customer service. Well located with all you need from coffee places to groceries, restaurants and all needed. New the Okanagan Valley, a friend suggest me this place. Great place for piece of mind.

Pleasantly surprised

The lady when I checked in was nice and friendly but that's were the positive comments end. If you want to spend money on a room where you can't shower, use the WiFi or watch what you want from the guide on tv and you don't mind a weird smell or shoddy renovations and built up grime in the bathroom then this place is for you. The room we were in had an unpleasant smell. I thought it smelled like a room that had previously been smoked in a lot but my daughter thought it smelled musty. Needless to say, it did not smell good. The room was dated and it looked like they tried to update some of it based on the bad tiling job in the bathroom and the paint all over the mirror and closet rod. The shower did not work. I tried to shower but only hot water came out of the shower head. No matter how much cold I turned on, the shower head would only spray hot water. So, I opted to try to wash in the bath tub, for which there was no plug. But, it didn't need a plug because about 1/3 of the way through my "shower" the tub was about 3/4 full of water because it drained so slowly! The corners on the tub and on the bathroom floor had gross, built up grime. The air-conditioning had a light switch type switch on the wall for on or off with no temperature adjustment so in the middle of the night I had to get up and turn it off because it was so cold in our room. There were no extra blankets and only a sheet and a thin bedspread on the bed. In the morning I tried to turn the heat on in the bathroom so I wouldn't freeze after my shower but the baseboard heater didn't work. They only give you two bath towels and two face clothes, no hand towels. Any hotel I've ever stayed in always has all three options, hand towel included. They offer free WiFi but the WiFi network did not show up on the list of available networks at 11pm but it was there in the morning so I'm thinking they turn it off at night. I haven't stayed in any other hotel where there is no WiFi for certain hours. We stayed in a room which had a code on the door knob rather than a key or a swipe card so anyone who knew the code could get into your room if didn't lock the deadbolt. The tv was tiny and it was hard to see from the bed and the channels were so limited that we gave up trying to watch anything. I paid $161 for the room after taxes and it wasn't even worth $61. I definitely will not be staying there again or recommending this place to anyone.

Not worth the money

I booked the room for Sunday and Monday over August long-week through hotels.com. The day before the check-in date the owner of the hotel messaged that there is a problem with my credit card. However, my card was charged few days ago. Quick check on-line confirmed that room was paid in full several days ago. I called the hotel number and talked to the owner. She said that she tried to charge the card and it was declined. Which sounded strange. If it done through the booking website then website charges the client and then pays the hotel minus the booking fee. She should not be charging my card at all.

I called hotels.com. They called Granada Inn and repeated what the owner said. They asked me to send them screenshot of my credit card statement and promised to resolve it within 3 days. They tried to find other accommodation for me in the area but on the eve of the long week-end everything was a least twice expensive. So, I had a choice to pay at least twice the price or cancel my plans. I ended up going to Lake Chelan area in Washington state.

I did send the screenshot of the credit card statement to hotel.com, and they issued the refund in two days.

I have to admit I can't say anything good or bad about the room but overall experience justifies the score, I believe.

Price does not justify the trouble

My son is currently renting a room for the month while he works in town.  He was given an eviction notice from the owner to move out in 48 hours due to a noise disturbance complaint she received.  I talked to the Innkeeper about the complaint and he said he went up to my sons room when he received the noise complaint and stood outside his door for awhile and didn’t hear anything.  He said the noise was coming from a different room.  When I relayed this info to the owner (Amy), she didn’t care, she said he has to move out.  I told the manager (Innkeeper) what she said and he told me he couldn’t help my son because he does whatever Amy tells him to do.
These people are crooks and any chance they can take your money they will.  They are not returning the remainder of my sons monthly rent or his deposit.  I’ll bet this is a regular thing they do to people who stay there.
If you think there must be more to this story, there isn’t.

Thiefs, dishonest!

I had a booking for 2 nights. When I arrived they said the price was too low & said I could stay if I paid 80% more. That is a what you call HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! When I agreed to the higher rate they then said there was no room & told to leave. DO NOT STAY THERE, It's a DUMP!
