RedDoorz Plus @ Calle Crisologo Vigan

Good location. Just a block away from the historical part of  Vigan. I was only expecting a regular family room for the good price I got. Lo and behold, the room was big, lots of space and more bed than we needed. Was very happy with my stay.

The Gordion is a well restored building where the owners have maintained the look of the past including the tasteful choice of interior decor of the rooms. We also found it convenient as it is next to the main street in vigan namely crisologo street. Being close to this street but not on the street made this a very quiet place to take a break from. Also the main courtyard with the ruins of the past preserved in the courtyard made for a relaxing evening in the courtyard having coffee and enjoying the conversation among friends. The staff are very courteous and prompt in responding to your queries. Given that the building is an old one restored by the owners, one should expect quirkiness in the rooms but overall it was a good experience. we had no issues with noise and parking of vehicles was fairly easy in the gordion and beside it is a secure parking area if gordion's lot is full. The hotel is located within walking distance of most places you may visit while in vigan.

Our room was big and clean. Everything was ok except nung parang humina and nawalan ng tubig. Staffs were very helpful and kind naman. We had our breakfast outside because hotel offers kinda pricey (for me) plated breakfast. What I like the most is their super comfy pillow, madaming pillows :) Overall we had a nice stay in Vigan.

It was a very crowded Vigan that we saw when we visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site during the holidays. Consequently, parking was a challenge especially since we arrived past eight in the evening but I really appreciated that the guard of Gordion Hotel found a space for me. 

One of the best things about Gordion Hotel is its location which is just a block away from the famous Calle Crisologo. Consequently, it’s near restaurants like Lampong and Cafe Leona, souvenir shops, the church and town plaza. 

The standard room which I availed was spacious enough to contain a queen-sized bed, an antique cabinet, and a table. The TV was installed on the wall for easy viewing. Toiletries and bottled water were not provided so I suggest that you bring your own if you plan to stay here in the future. 

I like that the breakfast was served at the Garden by the Ruins because of its ambiance. The only problem is because it’s open air, there were flies all over because of the smoked fish and fish sauce. Breakfast could also have been better if they served Ilocano dishes, instead of corned beef, nuggets, tinapa, and macaroni salad. It could have been a more authentic Ilocano experience if they served Vigan longganisa, poqui-poqui, and bagnet. It’s also disappointing that they did not refill the dishes considering that breakfast is good until 10am. 

Check in and check out were a breeze. Service was okay and the staff were gracious.

No reservation but walked-in booking and was greeted by a nice friendly receptionist. We paid for a deluxe room P$4500 ( family of 4 adults ) and was upgraded to a Family room P$8600 (fit for 10 adults)! The room was pretty huge with a stairs going to a deck, nice touch! Everything in the room was in working order and clean with nothing to complain. It's sad we did not have the time to experience the breakfast included in the package. Expensive but worth it! recommended! The staff was helpful and friendly as well.

Location-wise, it's perfect! Centrally located and parallel to the historical and famous Calle Crisologo. 

I am very satisfied with our family room size because it was really spacious. There was 3 beds provided and lots of extra space to actually play around. Very comfy. 

The bathroom was big but bare though. Just a space to do the necessary. 

The complimentary buffet breakfast was decent and good to fill your tummy for a day's worth of touring. 

The only issue, though minor for me, is the lack of an elevator. the wooden stairs are wide in girth but a bit steep in the steps. I came with my senior citizen parents, but still able, but it would have been difficult if you are not physically fit especially if your room is located at the 3rd floor like ours. 

My conclusion --  I will still come back here. I liked it here.

We arrived to an inattentive and unfriendly front office staff, too busy cutting breakfast coupons and playing with their phones to bother with a proper greeting. Our family room for four persons came only with two towels and two blankets; had to make several calls just to get extras. Even then, the staff were completely bewildered by our request. The floors were not mopped properly and have a slimy, cloudy film so it's best to bring slippers. And 

It's a beautiful hotel but the staff is poorly trained in hospitality.

Beautiful hotel, Poor quality

We stayed here for two days.The room is huge and bathroom is smelly maybe because of the old pipes..The room looks creepy, it needs more improvement .It seems bedsheets and pillows are old. Staff doesn't know anything if you ask them about Vigan.Also, Agoda  (Red Doorz Plus) didn't specify the name of the hotel..
