ok...relax and pleasure. a big family also small family able to stay here...near with Bukit Kayu Hitam and UUM. We always rental here .Our target...dinner with family  to taste the tomyam restaurant and cendol at napoh area.

The hotel is just nice, price is reasonable, staff very helpful, easy to find food surrounding. Next to highway. Room and bathroom also clean. There is piana restaurant next to the hotel. The food also quite nice.

Another trip to the small northern town of Changlun, sees me staying at this hotel for a change. Its located just on the fringe of town, so unless you have your own transport, be prepared to take a long walk. Check in was fast, and the staffs are friendly and accommodating. I was given a room on the 2nd floor. Average in size, but have nice decor with the usual amenities - minus a minibar. The hotel fancy themselves as a boutique hotel of sort

You do not have much choices for breakfast at the hotel, but good enough to start your day. Its located just beside the highway to Thailand and Kuala Perlis, so connectivity was good - if you drive. Taxis are a bit hard to find near the hotel but if you need one, just ask the reception to assist. It is closest hotel to the Thai border, so it could be a good stop before one went over.

Visited the gm in April of 2015. Was working in Thailand and needed to do a border run. Because I had to stay in Malaysia a night I chose this as it was closest. 10 mins on the back of a scooter. 
The rooms we're awesome. English tv channels and big comfy beds as well as tea and coffee and breakfast. For what you get the price is fair. Was nice to stay in a air con room with a big comfy bed after spending months living in a bamboo hut.

It is a good place for a stopover before fresh morning journey to cross the border. It is only 10 minutes to the border and next to the hotel there are few restaurants to choose from. But don't expect too much. As I stated earlier ,it is a good place to stop and have a good night sleep before next morning journey to Thailand. But please make reservations, especially during weekends or school holidays.

Stopover

I can't advise strongly enough not to enter this hotel.  I reached the border late by 10 minutes and couldn't cross to Thailand.  I decided to backtrack a little to find a hotel.  This place is very visible from the main road.  The lobby looked "ok" enough, tolerable.  Once inside the room I immediately noticed the wall paper is peeling, stained with spit and blood and there was a smell.  Bed bugs were visible on the bed sheets.  Rolling them back and turning the pillows revealed blood stains and lots lots more bed bugs.  The condition of the rooms in this hotel is just shocking.  Like a horror movie.  I went back to my car and slept in the border queue.  Other hotels in the area refuse to let you see the rooms.  Maybe they also are a horror show... anyway, if you need a place to sleep you should drive further back to Alor Setar for a decent hotel.  Avoid this place if you value your health.
